About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: Since the Lord had it on my heart to write this blog, I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

The Divisions of Aaron's Sons

1 Chronicles 24:1-31                       1 Chronicles in [Smaller Chunks]arated

Now these are the divisions of [Aaron's] sons: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, & Ithamar. But Nadab & Abihu died before their father, & [they] had no children. Therefore, Eleazar & Ithamar [carried out] the priest’s office, [a.k.a. position.] 

[Leviticus 10:1-2 And Nadab, & Abihu, the sons of Aaron, [each] took his censer & put fire [in there,] & put incense [on it,] & offered strange fire before the Lord, which He commanded them not [to do.] And fire went out there from the Lord, & devoured them, & they died before the Lord.]

And David distributed [to] them, both Zadok, of [Eleazar's] sons, [a.k.a. descendants,] & Ahimelech, [a.k.a. Ahimelek,] of [Ithamar's descendants,] according to their [positions serving] [as priests.] Eleazar [had] more sons [who] were chief men, [a.k.a. leaders,] than [Ithamar's] sons, & they were divided [like this:] [into 2 groups.]  

Among [Eleazar's] sons were 16 [leaders] of their [fathers'] house, [a.k.a. families,] & [only] 8 among [Ithamar's] sons, [who were leaders,] according to their [fathers' families.] 

They were divided [like this:] by lot, 1 [from a division ] with another, [from both:] Eleazar's & Ithamar's sons:] for the governors, [a.k.a. officials,] of the sanctuary, & [the officials of God's] house. 

And Shemaiah, the son of Nethaneel, [a.k.a. Nethanel,] the scribe, & 1 of the Levites, wrote [their] [names in front of] the king, the princes, Zadok, the priest, & Ahimelech, [Abiathar's] son, & before the [leaders of the forefathers'] [families,] of the priests & Levites, [taking turns:] 1 being taken [from] the household for Eleazar & 1 taken [from] Ithamar.

Now, the 1st lot came [out] to-Jehoiarib; 2nd-Jedaiah, 3rd-Harim, 4th-Seorim, 5th-Malchijah, [a.k.a. Malkijah;] 6th-Mijamin; 7th-Hakkoz; 8th-Abijah; 9th-Jeshuah, [a.k.a. Jeshua;] 10th-Shecaniah, [a.k.a. Shekaniah, & Shekinah;] 11th-Eliashib; 

12th to-Jakim; 13th-Huppah; 14th-Jeshebeab; 15th-Bilgah, 16th-Immer; 17th-Hezir; 18th-Aphses, [a.k.a. Happizzez;] 19th-Pethahiah; 20th-Jehezekel, [a.k.a. Jehezkel;] 21st-Jachin, [a.k.a. Jakin;] 22nd-Gamul; 23rd-Delaiah; 24th-Maaziah. 

These were the [schedules for] them [of] their service: to come into the [Lord's] house, according to their [customs,] under Aaron, their [forefather,] as the Lord God of Israel commanded him.

The rest of [Levi's descendants] were these: [from Amram's] sons: Shubael; [from Shubael's] sons: Jehdeiah. [Related to Rehabiah's descendants: from Rehabiah's] sons: 1st-Isshiah, [a.k.a. Ishiah.] 

[From] the Izharites: Shelomoth; [from Shelomoth's] sons: Jahath. [From] the sons of the Hebron: 1st-Jeriah; 2nd-Amariah; 3rd- Jahaziel; 4th-Jekameam. [From Uzziel's] sons: Michah, [a.k.a. Micah.] [From Michah's] sons: Shamir. 

[Michah's] brother was Isshiah, [a.k.a. Ishiah.] [From Isshiah's] sons: Zechariah. [From Merari's] sons were: Mahli & Mushi. [From Jaaziah's] sons: Beno. The [descendants] of Merari by Jaaziah: Beno, Shoham, Zaccur, [a.k.a. Zakkur,] & Ibri. [From] Mahli, came Eleazar, who had no sons. 

[About] Kish: [Kish's] son was Jerahmeel. Also, [from Mushi's] sons: Mahli, Eder, & Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites [according to] their [forefathers' families.] 

These [also] cast lots, [just like] their brethren, the [descendants] of Aaron [did] in the presence of King David, & Zadok, & Ahimelech, & chief priests & Levites, even the [leaders] [of their] [forefathers'] [families.] [The oldest were treated the same as] their younger brethren.
