About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: Since the Lord had it on my heart to write this blog, I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

1 Chronicles 23:1-32 The Levites Were Counted in Groups

The Levites Were Counted in Groups

1 Chronicles 23:1-32     1 Chronicles in [Smaller Chunks]

So, when David was old & full of [years,] he made his son, Solomon, king over Israel. And [David] gathered together all the princes of Israel, with the priests & the Levites.

Now, the Levites were numbered, [a.k.a. counted,] from the age of 30 years, & [older.] And [they were counted 1 by 1, & were registered, & their total] was: 38,000. Of which, 24,000 [Levites] were [instructed to move] the work of the [Lord's] house forward. And 6,000 were: officers & judges.

[Also,] 4,000 were porters, [a.k.a. gate keepers.] 4,000 were [musicians to] [praise] the Lord with the instruments [that] I made to praise [with them,] said David. And David divided the sons of Levi into [divisions, a.k.a. family groups,] among sons, [a.k.a. the descendants of:] Gershon, Kohath & Merari.

[From] the Gershonites were: Laadan, [a.k.a. Ladan,] & Shimei. [Ladan's] sons [were:] Jehiel, the chief, [a.k.a. leader,] Zetham, & Joel, 3. [Shimei's] sons: Shelomith, [a.k.a. Shelomoth,] Haziel, & Haran, 3. These were the [heads of the [families] of Laadan.

[Some] of [Shimei's] [other] [descendants] were: Jahath, Zina, [a.k.a. Ziza, & Zizah,] Jeush, & Beriah. These 4 were [Shimei's] [descendants.] And Jahath was the [leader,] Zizah [2nd,] but Jeush, & Beriah [didn't have] many sons. Therefore, they were [counted as 1 family,] according to their father’s house.

[Kohath's] sons: Amran, Izhar, Hebron, & Uzziel, 4. [Amram's] sons [were:] Aaron, & Moses. And Aaron [& his descendants] [were] separated, [so] that he & his sons [could] sanctify the Most Holy Things forever, & to burn incense before the Lord, to minister, [a.k.a. serve,] Him, & to bless [the Lord God's] Name forever.

Now, [about] Moses, the man of God. [Moses'] sons were [considered as part] of the tribe of Levi. [Moses'] sons were: Gershom, [a.k.a. Gershon,] & Eliezer. [From Gershom's] [descendants were:] Shebuel, [a.k.a. Shubael,] [who] was the [leader.]

And [Eliezer's descendant was:] Rehabiah, the [leader.] And Eliezer [didn't have any] other sons, but Rehabiah [had] very many sons. [From Izhar's] sons: Shelomith [was] the [leader.]

[From Hebron's] sons: Jeriah, the 1st, [a.k.a. leader;] Amariah, 2nd; Jahaziel, 3rd; Jekameam, 4th. [From Uzziel's] sons: Micah, 1st, [a.k.a. leader;] & Jesiah, [a.k.a. Ishiah,] 2nd. [Merari's] sons: Mahli, & Mushi. [Mahli's] sons: Eleazar, & Kish. And Eleazar died, & [didn't have] sons, but [only] daughters.

And their brethren, [a.k.a. relatives, of] the sons of Kish took them [as their wives.] [Mushi's] sons: Mahli, Eder, & Jeremoth, [a.k.a. Jerimoth,] 3.

These were [Levi's descendants, according to] their [fathers'] house, [a.k.a. families;] & even the [leaders] of the [forefathers,] as they were counted by [the] number of names [individually registered, who were to look after] the work of the [Lord's] house, from the age of 20 years, & [older.]

For David said, The Lord God of Israel [has] given rest [from war] to His people, [so] they may dwell, [a.k.a. live,] in Jerusalem forever. And also, to the Levites, [so] they shall no [longer] [have to] carry the tabernacle, nor any of [its] vessels, [a.k.a. articles,] of it for the service [related to it.]

By the [the time of the] last words of David, the Levites were [counted] from 20 years old, & [older.] [Since] their office, [a.k.a. duty,] was to [assist Aaron's] sons, for the service of the [Lord's] house.

[They were also in charge of] the [courtyards,] the [side] chambers, [a.k.a. rooms,] & purifying all [the] holy things, & [doing all the other] work, & service of the [Lord] [God's] house.

[They were in charge of:] both the shewbread, & the fine flour for [the meat/grain] offering, the unleavened cakes, & for the [baking, & mixing of what is:] baked in the pan; is fried; & for al [types] of [measurement] & [sizes] [of all that is baked in a pan or fried.]

[Also,] [they were] to stand every morning, & [evening,] to thank, & praise the Lord; & to offer all [the] burnt sacrifices to the Lord [on:] the Sabbaths, New Moons, & on [regularly] [scheduled] feasts, [in the proper way prescribed,] by number, continually before the Lord, [like they were] commanded [to do.]

And, [the Levites were in] charge of: the tabernacle of the congregation, the Holy Place, & [in] charge of Aaron, & their [priest descendants for] the service of the [Lord's] house.
