The Lord God Wants Those Who Mourn in Zion to be Comforted

Isaiah 61:1-11                                The Book of Isaiah [in Smaller Chunks]

*The [Holy] Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me; because the Lord [has] anointed Me to preach good [news] to the meek, [a.k.a. humble.] He [has] sent Me to [bandage] up the broken-hearted, & to proclaim liberty to the captives, & the opening of the prison to those [who] are bound.

*To [declare] the acceptable year of the Lord, & the day of vengeance of our God, & to comfort all [who] mourn.  [Luke 4:18-19 *The [Holy] Spirit of the Lord [God,] is upon Me, because He [has] anointed Me to preach the Gospel to the poor. He [has] sent Me to heal the broken-hearted, & to preach deliverance to the captives, & recovering of sight to the blind, to set [free those who] are bruised, & to preach the acceptable year of the Lord [God.]

*To [comfort] [those who] mourn in Zion, to give to them: beauty, [instead of] ashes; the oil of joy, [instead of] mourning, the garment of praise, [instead of] the spirit of heaviness; [so] that they might be called: trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, [so] that He might be glorified.

[Acts 10:37-41  I say that Word, you know, [that] was [proclaimed] throughout all Judaea, & began from Galilee, after the baptism, [in] which John preached; How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost, [a.k.a Holy Spirit,] & with power. Who went [around] doing good, & healing all [who] were oppressed [by] the devil; for God was with Him. And we are witnesses of all things [that] He did, both in the land of the Jews, & in Jerusalem. Whom they slew & hanged on a [cross made from a] tree. *God raised Him up the 3rd day, & [showed] Him openly. Not to all the people, but to witnesses chosen before [by] God, even to us, who did eat & drink with Him, after He rose from the dead.]

And they shall [rebuild] the old [waste] [lands.] They shall raise up the [previous] desolations. And they shall repair the [deserted] cities, & [the wastelands] of many generations.

[Isaiah 49:8-10 *The Lord [says this,] In an acceptable time, I have heard You, & [during] the day of Salvation, I have helped You. I will preserve You, & give You for a Covenant, [a.k.a. contract, for] the people to establish the earth, & to cause the desolate heritages to [be] inherited.]

And strangers shall stand & feed your flocks, & the sons of the [foreigners] shall be your: [farmers,] & [caretakers of] your vineyards. But you shall be named, the Priests of the Lord. Men shall call you the Ministers of our God. You shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, & you shall boast yourselves in their glory.

[Romans 9:23-26 And [so] that He might make known the [richness] of His glory [on] the vessels [by] mercy, [that] He  had [previously] prepared [for] glory, even us, whom He [has] called, not only the Jews, but also the Gentiles? [Like] He also [said] in [Hosea,] I will call them My people, [who] weren't My people, & [call] her beloved, [who] wasn't beloved. And it shall [happen,] that in the place where it was said to them, You aren't My people, they shall be called there, the children of the Living God.]

You shall have double for your shame, & [because of] confusion, they shall rejoice in their portion, & everlasting joy shall be to them. Therefore, in their land, they shall possess the double. For I, the Lord, love judgment, [a.k.a. justice,] & I hate robbery for burnt [offerings.]

[Malachi 3:8-10 Will a man rob God? Yet, you have robbed Me. But you say, [In what] have we robbed You? In tithes & offerings. You are cursed with a curse. For you, even this whole nation, have robbed Me.

You, bring all the tithes into the storehouse, [so] that there may be [food] in [My] house, & [test] Me now [with this, says] the Lord of Hosts, [& see] if I won’t open [to] you the windows of heaven, & pour out a blessing [for] you, [so] that there [won’t] be enough room to receive it.]

And I will direct their work in truth, & I will make an everlasting covenant, [a.k.a. contract,] with them. And their seed, [a.k.a. descendants,] shall be known among the Gentiles, & their offspring [shall be known] among the people.

All [who] see them, shall acknowledge them, & that they are the seed [that] the Lord [has] blessed. [Acts 11:17 [Since] God [has given] them the [same] gift as He did to us, who [believe in] the Lord, Jesus Christ; [who] was I, that I [should] withstand God?]

I will rejoice greatly in the Lord, & my soul shall be joyful in my God. For He [has] clothed me with the garments of Salvation, & He [has] covered me with the robe of righteousness, [like] a bridegroom [decorates] himself with ornaments, & like a bride [adorns] herself with her jewels.

[Revelations 21:1-3 And I saw a new heaven & a new earth. For the first heaven & the first earth [had] passed away; & there was no more sea. And I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared [like] a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, [Look,] the tabernacle of God is with men. And He will dwell with them & they shall be His people, & God, Himself, shall be with them, & be their God.]

For like the earth [produces its buds,] & [like] the garden [causes] the things that are sown in it to [sprout up;] so the Lord God will cause righteousness, & praise to [sprout up] before all the nations.
