About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Jeremiah 3:1-25 The Rain is Withheld Because of Their Worship of False gods

The Rain is Withheld Because of Their Worship of False gods

Jeremiah 3:1-25                               The Book of Jeremiah [in Smaller Chunks]

They say, If a man [puts] away his wife, [a.k.a. divorces,] & she [goes] from him & [becomes] another man’s [wife,] shall he return to her again? [Shouldn’t that land [that does similarly] be greatly polluted, [a.k.a. defiled?] But you have played the harlot with many lovers.

[Still,] return again to Me, says the Lord. [Isaiah 1:21 How the faithful city [has] become an [unfaithful] harlot! It was full of [justice] & righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers.]

Lift up your eyes to the high places & see where you haven’t been [lain] with. [On] the [roads,] you have sat for them, [like] the [wandering] Arabian in the wilderness. And you have [defiled] the land with your [unfaithful harlotry] & with your wickedness.

[Deuteronomy 12:2-3 You shall [totally] destroy all the places, [in which] the nations [that] you possess served their gods, upon the high mountains & upon the hills & under every green tree. And you shall overthrow their altars & break their pillars & burn their groves with fire. And you shall [cut] down the [carved] images of their gods & destroy the name of them out of that place.]

Therefore, the showers have been [withheld] & there has been no [spring] rain. And you have a [prostitute’s] [painted] forehead & you refused to be ashamed. From this time [of drought,] won’t you cry [out] to Me, My Father, You are the guide of my youth? [Psalm 71:17 O God, You have taught me from my youth & [up until now,] I have declared Your wondrous works, [a.k.a. miracles.]

Will He [hold on to] His anger forever? Will He keep it [until] the end? [Look,] you have spoken & [have] done [as many] evil things, as you could. Also, the Lord said to me [during] the days of king Josiah, [Have] you seen [what] backsliding Israel has done?

She [has] gone up upon every high mountain & under every green tree & [has] played the [unfaithful] harlot there. [Ezekiel 6:9 -10 And [those] of you [who] escape, shall remember Me among the nations [where] they shall be carried [captive,] because I am [shattered by] their [unfaithful hearts, that] have departed from Me.

And with their eyes [that] go [unfaithfully] after their idols, they shall loathe themselves for the [evil] they have committed in all their abominations. And they shall know, that I Am the Lord & that I haven’t said in vain, that I [would bring this calamity on] them.]

And I said after she had done all these things, You [return] to Me. But she [didn’t return.] And her treacherous sister, Judah saw it. [2 Kings 17:9-12 And the children [people] of Israel secretly did against the Lord their God, those things that weren’t right.

And they built [themselves] high places in all their cities, from the [Watchman’s] Tower, to the fenced city. And they [put] up images & groves in every high hill & under every green tree [for themselves.]

And there they burnt incense in the high places & did [like] the heathen, whom the Lord carried away before them & [did] wicked things to provoke the Lord to anger: for they served idols, [of which,] the Lord had said to them, You shall not do this thing.]

And when I saw all the [reasons by which] backsliding Israel committed adultery, I had her put away & [gave] her a bill of divorce. [Yet,] her treacherous sister, Judah, [didn’t] fear [respect] [Me,] but also went & played the harlot. And it [happened,] through her [treating] her [unfaithful harlotry] [lightly,] that she defiled the land & committed adultery with the stones & with the [tree stumps.]

[2 Kings 19:17-19 Of a truth, Lord, the kings of Assyria have destroyed the nations & their lands. And have cast their gods into the fire: for they weren’t gods, but the work of men’s hands, wood & stone. [That’s why,] they have destroyed them.]

And [still after] all this, her treacherous sister, Judah, hasn’t [returned] to Me with her whole heart, but [for a false purpose,] said the Lord. [Isaiah 29:13 *[For this reason,] the Lord said, [Since,] this people [draws] near Me with their mouth & do honor Me with their lips, but have removed their heart far from Me. And their fear [respect] toward Me is taught by the [commandments] of men.]

And the Lord said to me, The backsliding Israel has justified herself more than treacherous Judah. Go & [declare] these words toward the North & say, Return, you, backsliding Israel, says the Lord. And I won’t cause [My] anger to fall upon you.

For I am merciful, says the Lord & I won’t [stay angry] forever. [1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful & just to forgive us our sins & to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.]

Only acknowledge your [sin,] that you have transgressed against the Lord your God & your [actions] have scattered to the strangers under every green tree & you haven’t obeyed My voice, says the Lord. [Return, O backsliding children [people,] says the Lord.

For I am married to you & I will take you [back, even if there's only] 1 [from] a city & 2 [from] a family & I will bring you to Zion. [Isaiah 27:12-13 And it shall [happen on] that day, that the Lord shall [thresh to separate] & you shall be gathered 1 by 1 from the channel of the [Euphrates] River to the stream of Egypt, O you children of Israel.

And it shall [happen on] that day, that the [large] trumpet shall be blown & [those who] were ready to perish in the land of Assyria & the outcasts in the land of Egypt, shall worship in the Holy Mount of the Lord, in Jerusalem.]

And according to [My] heart, I will give you pastors, [who] shall feed you with knowledge & understanding. The Lord says, And in those days, it shall [happen,], when you [are] multiplied & [increase] in the land, they shall no [longer] say, The Ark of the Covenant of the Lord & neither shall it come to mind.

Neither shall they remember it, [nor] shall they visit it. Neither shall that be done anymore. [Revelation 21:1-3 And I saw a new heaven & a new earth. For the first heaven & the first earth [had] passed away & there was no more sea. And I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God prepared [like] a bride adorned for her husband.

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, [Look,] the tabernacle of God is with men. And He will dwell with them & they shall be His people & God, Himself, shall be with them & be their God.]

At that time, they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the Lord & all the nations shall be gathered to it, to the Name of the Lord, to Jerusalem. [Revelation 5:9-10 And they [sang] a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the Book & to open the seals [of it:] for You were slain & [have] redeemed us out of every [family, language] & nation, to God by Your blood & [have] made us kings & priests to our God, [so] we shall [rule] on the earth.]

Neither shall they [follow] after the imagination of their evil heart anymore. [Revelation 21:26-27 And they shall bring the glory & honor of the nations into it. And there shall in no [ways] enter into it anything that defiles & neither [whatever does abominations,] or makes a lie: but [those who] are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.]

In those days, the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel & they shall come together out of the land of the North to the land that I have given for an inheritance to your [forefathers.]

But I said, How shall I put you among the children & give you a pleasant land, a [sizeable] inheritance of the [multitudes] of nations? And I said, You shall call Me, My Father & shall not turn away from Me.

The Lord says, Surely, [like] a treacherous wife departs from her husband, so have you [behaved] treacherously with Me, O house of Israel. A [sound] was heard upon the high places, weeping & [prayers] of the children [people] of Israel.

For they [had corrupted] their ways & they have forgotten the Lord their God. [Jeremiah 48:35 The Lord says, [Additionally,] I will cause him, [who] offers in the high places & him, [who] burns incense to his gods, to cease in Moab.]

Return, you backsliding children [people] & I will heal your [going astray.] [Isaiah 53:5-6 But He was wounded for our [sins] & He was bruised for our iniquities. The [discipline for] our peace was upon Him & with His [whip] stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray. We have everyone turned to his own way & the Lord has laid on Him the [sin] of us all.]

[Look,] we come to You; for You are the Lord our God. [Jeremiah 33:6 [Look,] I will bring it health & [remedy] & I will cure them & will reveal to them, the abundance of peace & truth.]

Truly, salvation hoped for from the hills & the multitude of mountains is in vain. Truly, The Salvation of Israel is in the Lord our God. For from our youth, shame has devoured the [work] of our [forefathers,] their flocks, herds, sons & their daughters.

[2 Kings 17:16-17 And they left all the commandments of the Lord their God & made [themselves molded] images, even 2 calves & made a grove & worshiped all the [stars & constellations] of heaven & served Baal. And they caused their sons & daughters to pass through the fire & used divination & [enchantment] & sold themselves to do evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke Him to anger.]

We lie down in our shame & our confusion covers us: for we have sinned against the Lord our God. We & our [forefathers,] from our youth, even [until] this day & haven't obeyed the voice of the Lord our God.
