The Lord has Jeremiah Hide His Sash that Gets Ruined Like Israel

Jeremiah 13:1-27                               The Book of Jeremiah [in Smaller Chunks]

The Lord [said this] to me, Go, & get [yourself] a linen girdle, [a.k.a. sash.] And put it upon your [waist,] & [don't] put it in water. So, I got a [sash,] according to the Word of the Lord, & put it on my [waist.]

And the Word of the Lord came to me the 2nd time, saying, Take the [sash] that you [have gotten,] which is upon your [waist,] & arise, & go to [the] Euphrates [River,] & hide it there in a hole of the rock. So, I went, & hid it by [the] Euphrates [River,] [like] the Lord commanded me.

And it [happened] after many days, that the Lord said to me, Arise, & go to [the] Euphrates, & take the [sash] from [there, that] I commanded you to hide there. Then, I went to [the] Euphrates, & [dug,] & took the [sash] from the place where I had [hidden] it, & [saw,] the [sash] was [ruined.]

It was [beneficial] for nothing. Then, the Word of the Lord came to me, saying, The Lord [says this,] [Like the sash was ruined,] I will [ruin] the pride of Judah, & the great pride of Jerusalem.

[Isaiah 2:11-12 The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, & the [arrogance] of men shall be bowed down. And the Lord Alone shall be exalted [on] that day. For the day of the Lord of Hosts shall be upon everyone [who] is proud, & lofty, & upon everyone [who] is lifted up, [a.k.a. magnified,] & he shall be brought low.]

This evil people, [who] refuse to hear My Words, [who] walk, [a.k.a. follow,] the imagination of their heart, & [follow] after other gods, to serve, & worship them, shall even be [like] this [sash,] which is good for nothing.

For the Lord [says, Like] the [sash clings] to the [waist] of a man, so have I caused the whole house of: Israel, & Judah, to [cling] to Me, [so] that they might be for: a people, a Name, & for: praise, & glory to Me. But they wouldn't [listen.]

[Jeremiah 33:7-9 And I will cause [those who have been in] captivity [from:] Judah, & Israel] to return. & will build them [up,] [like] at the [beginning.] And I will cleanse them from their [sinfulness, with which] they have sinned against Me. And I will pardon all their [sins with which:] they have sinned, & they have transgressed against Me. And it shall be a name of: joy,  praise, & [honor]  to Me, before all the nations of the earth, [that] shall hear all the good that I do to them. And they shall fear, [a.k.a. respect,] for all the goodness, & for all the prosperity that I [provided for] it.]

Therefore, you [shall] speak this Word to them; The Lord God of Israel [says this,] Every bottle shall be filled with wine; & they shall say to you, [Don't] we certainly know that every bottle shall be filled with wine? [Micah 2:10-11 You, arise, & depart; for this isn't your [place to] rest, because it's [defiled.] I shall destroy you, even with a [severe] destruction. If a man [follows] in the spirit, & [lies falsely,] saying, I will prophesy to you [about] wine & strong drink, he shall even be the prophet of this people.]

Then, you [shall] say to them, The Lord [says this, Look,] I will fill all the inhabitants of this land with drunkenness, even the kings, [who] sit upon David's throne, the: priests, prophets, & all the [residents] of Jerusalem.

[Isaiah 28:7 But also they have erred through wine, & strong drink, & [have gone astray.] The priest & prophet have erred through strong drink, & they are swallowed up [by] wine. They [have gone astray] through strong drink. They err in [visions,] & stumble in judgment.]

And I will dash them one against another, even the fathers & sons together, [says] the Lord. I won't pity, nor spare, nor have mercy, but [will] destroy them. You, hear, & [listen,] & [don't] be proud: for the Lord [has] spoken.

Give glory to the Lord your God, before He [causes] darkness, & before your feet stumble upon the dark mountains. And while you look for light, He, [turns] it into the shadow of death, & [makes] it [extremely dark.]

[Joshua 7:19-20 And Joshua said to Achan, My son, I pray [that] you, give glory to the Lord God of Israel, & make confession to Him. And now, tell me what you [have] done. [Don't] hide it from me. And Achan answered Joshua, & said, Indeed, I have sinned against the Lord God of Israel, & I have done [this,] & [this.]

But if you won't hear it, My soul shall weep in secret places for your pride. And [My eyes] shall [severely] weep, & run down with tears, because the Lord's flock is carried away captive. Say to the king & queen, Humble yourselves, & sit down. For your [principality, a.k.a. royalty,] shall come down, even the crown of your glory. [Jeremiah 23:25-26 And I will give you into the hand of [those, who:] seek your life, & whose [faces] you [fear,] even into the hand of: [Nebuchadnezzar, Babylon's] king, & the Chaldeans. And I will cast you out, into another country, where you weren't born, & your mother, [who bore] you, & you shall die there.]

The cities of the South shall be [closed] up, & none shall open them. All of Judah shall be carried away captive, & it shall be [totally] carried away captive. Lift up your eyes, & [see those who] come from the North. Where is the flock that was given [to] you, your beautiful flock?

[Jeremiah 23:1-2 The Lord [says], Woe to the pastors, [a.k.a. shepherds, who] destroy, & scatter the sheep of My pasture! Therefore, the Lord God of Israel [says this,] against the pastors, [who] feed My people; You have scattered My flock, & have driven them away, & haven't visited them. [Watch,] I will visit, [a.k.a. punish,] you [for] the evil of your [actions, says] the Lord.]

What [will] you say when He shall punish you? For you [have] taught them to be captains, & [like leaders] over you. Shall sorrows not [overcome] you, [like] a woman in [labor?] And if you say in your heart, [For what reason,] [do] these things come upon me?

Your [robe] skirts [are uncovered,] & your heels are made bare, for the [immenseness] of your [sinfulness.] [Jeremiah 16:11 The Lord [says,] Then, you shall say to them, Because your [forefathers] have [abandoned] Me, & have walked, [a.k.a. followed,] after other gods, & have served, & worshiped them, & have [abandoned] Me, & haven't kept My Law.]

Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? Then, may you also do good, [those who] are accustomed to [doing] [what is:] evil. Therefore, I will scatter them, [like] the stubble [blows] away, by the wind of the wilderness.

This is your lot, & your portion [of your inheritance] [measured] [out] from Me, [says] the Lord, because you [have] forgotten Me, & trusted in [what is:] falsehood. [Jeremiah 21:9 He [who remains] in this city shall die by: the sword,  famine, & by pestilence. But he [who leaves, & falls] to the Chaldeans, [who attack] you, shall live, & his life shall be a [prize] to him.]

Therefore, I will [uncover, a.k.a. take off,] your [robe] skirts [hiding you, that are] upon your face, [so] that your shame may [be visible.] [Hosea 2:10 And now I will [uncover] her lewdness in the sight of her lovers, & none shall deliver her out of [My] hand.]

I have seen your adulteries, your [neighing,] the [vulgarity] of your [unfaithful] [harlotry,] & your abominations on the hills, & in the fields.

[Jeremiah 11:11-13 Therefore, the Lord [says this, Watch,] I will bring [calamity] upon them, [that] they shall not be able to escape. And [although] they shall cry [out] to Me, I won't [pay attention] to them. Then the cities of Judah, & the inhabitants of Jerusalem, shall go, & cry [out] to the gods, to whom they offer incense. But they shall not save them at all in their time of trouble. O Judah, for your gods were according to the number of your cities. And you have set up altars to that shameful thing, even altars to burn incense to Baal, according to the number of the streets of Jerusalem.]

Woe to you, O Jerusalem! [Won't] you be made clean? When shall it be [like it] once [was?]
