Isaiah Foretells They Will Turn Back to the Lord God, Their Salvation |
Isaiah 12:1-6 The Book of Isaiah [in Smaller Chunks] |
And [on] that day, you shall say, O Lord, I will praise You: though You [were] angry with me, Your anger is [now] turned away & You comfort me. |
[Look,] God is my Salvation. I will trust & won't be afraid: for the Lord, JEHOVAH, is my strength & my song. Also, He [has] become my Salvation. Therefore, you shall draw water out of the wells of Salvation with joy. |
And [on] that day, you shall say, Praise the Lord & call upon His Name. Declare His [actions] among the people & mention that His Name is exalted. Sing to the Lord; for He has done excellent things. This is known in all the earth. |
[Psalm 78:12-16 Marvelous things [God] did in the sight of their [forefathers] in the land of Egypt, in the field of Zoan. He divided the sea & caused them to pass through & He made the waters to stand [like] a heap. |
Also, in the daytime, He led them with a cloud & all night with a light of fire. He [split] the rocks in the wilderness & gave them [water to] drink, [like] out of great depths. He also brought streams out of the rock & caused waters to run down like rivers. |
Cry out & shout, you [residents] of Zion, [a.k.a. Jerusalem.] For great is the Holy One of Israel, in the midst of you. |
