About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Isaiah 1:1-31 Isaiah's Vision About Judah & Jerusalem

Isaiah's Vision About Judah & Jerusalem

Isaiah 1:1-31                                The Book of Isaiah [in Smaller Chunks]

The vision of Isaiah, [Amoz'] son, [that] he saw [related to] Judah & Jerusalem, [during] the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz & Hezekiah, [Judah's] kings. O heavens & O earth, hear & [lend your] ear: for the Lord has spoken. I have [provided for & raised] up children & they have rebelled against Me.

[Psalm 115:4-9 Their idols are silver & gold, the work of men's hands. They have mouths, but they [can't] speak. They have eyes, but they [can't] see. They have ears, but they [can't] hear. They have noses, but they [can't] smell. They have hands, but they [can't feel.]

They have feet, but they [can't] walk. Neither [do] they speak through their throat. [Those who] make them are [similar] to them. So is everyone, [who] trusts in them. O Israel, you trust in the Lord. He is their help & their shield.]

The ox knows [its] owner & the [mule its] master's [pen:] but Israel doesn't know. My people don't [think about this.] Ah, sinful nation, a people, [loaded] with [sin.] [Descendants] of evil doers, children [people, who behave corruptly.]

They have [abandoned] the Lord & they have provoked the Holy One of Israel to anger. They [have turned] away, backward. Why should you be [afflicted] any more? You will [just] revolt more & more. The whole head [of Israel] is sick & [faint-hearted.]

From the sole of the foot, even to the head [of Israel,] there isn't [any stability] in it; but [only] wounds, bruises & [festering] sores. [These sores] haven't been closed, neither [bandaged] up & neither [soothed] with ointment.

Your country is desolate. Your cities are burned with fire & strangers devour [your land,] in your presence. And it's [empty like it's] overthrown by strangers. And [Zion's] daughter, [a.k.a. Jerusalem,] is left [empty] [like] a cottage in a vineyard & [like] a lodge in a garden of cucumbers, [like a] city [surrounded.]

[If] the Lord of Hosts [hadn't] left to us a very small [amount remaining,] we should have been like Sodom & [similar] to Gomorrah. [Genesis 19:24-25 Then, the Lord rained upon Sodom & Gomorrah brimstone & fire from the Lord out of heaven & He overthrew all those cities & all the plains & all the inhabitants & [what] grew on the ground.]

Hear the Word of the Lord, you rulers of Sodom. [Lend your] ear to the Law of our God, you people of Gomorrah. To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices to Me? [says] the Lord. I am full of the burnt offerings of rams & the fat of fed [animals] & I [don't] delight in the blood of [bulls,] or of lambs, or [male] goats.

When you come to appear before Me, who has required this [by] your hand, to walk My [courtyards?] Bring no more vain, [a.k.a. worthless offerings.] Incense is an abomination to Me. I can't [endure] the New Moons, Sabbaths & the calling of assemblies. It is [sinful,] even the solemn meeting.

My soul hates your New Moons & your appointed feasts. They are [troublesome] to Me. I am [tired of putting up with] them. And when you spread your hands [out,] I will hide [My] eyes from you. [Yes,] when you make many prayers, I won't hear. Your hands are full of [bloodshed.]

You [go &] wash & make [yourselves] clean. Put away the evil of your [actions] from [in front of My] eyes. [Stop doing what is] evil. Learn to do well. Seek [justice,] relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless & plead for the widow.

Come now. Let's reason together, says the Lord. [Although] your sins [are] scarlet, they shall be white as snow. [Although] they [are] red like crimson, they shall be [white] [like] wool. If you [are] willing & obedient, you shall eat the good of the land.

But if you refuse & rebel, you shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord has spoken it. How [has] the faithful city become [like an unfaithful] harlot? It was full of [justice] & righteousness [resided] in it; but now murderers [reside there.]

Your silver [has] become [scum] & your wine [is] mixed with water. The princes are rebellious & [are friends] of thieves. Everyone loves gifts & follows after [bribes.] They [don't fairly] judge the fatherless & neither does the [case] of the widow come to them.

Therefore, says the Lord, the Lord of Hosts, the Mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will [be relieved of My] adversaries & avenge [Myself] of [My] enemies. And I will [return] My hand upon you & [completely] purge away your [scum] & take away your tin.

And I will restore your judges [like it was 1st] & your counselors [like] at the [beginning.] Afterward, you shall be called, The City of Righteousness, The Faithful City. Zion shall be redeemed with [justice] & her converts with righteousness.

And the destruction of the [rebels] & sinners shall be together. And [those who abandon] the Lord, shall be [destroyed.] For they shall be ashamed of the oaks [that] you desired & you shall be [confused, because of] the gardens you have chosen.

[Deuteronomy 12:2-3 You shall [totally] destroy all the places, [in which] the nations [that] you shall possess, served their gods, upon the high mountains & the hills & under every green tree. And you shall overthrow their altars & break their pillars & burn their groves with fire. And you shall [cut] down their [carved] images of their gods & destroy the names of them out of that place.]

For you shall be [like] an oak, whose leaf [fades] & like a garden [without] water. And the strong shall be [like kindling] & the maker of it, [like] a spark. And they shall both burn together & none shall [put] them [out.]
