About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Isaiah 8:1-22 The Lord Tells Isaiah the Riches of Damascus & Syria Will be Taken Away

The Lord Tells Isaiah the Riches of Damascus & Syria Will be Taken Away

Isaiah 8:1-22                               The Book of Isaiah [in Smaller Chunks]

[Additionally,] the Lord said to me, Take a [large scroll] & write in it with a man's pen [about] Maher Shalal Hashbaz. And I took [with] me faithful witnesses: Uriah, the priest & Zechariah, [Jeberechiah's] son, to record.

And I went to the prophetess & she [had] conceived & [delivered] a son. Then, the Lord said to me, Call his name Maher Shalal Hashbaz. For before the child shall have knowledge to cry [out,] My father & my mother, the riches of Damascus & the [plunder] of Samaria shall be taken away, [in front of] the king of Assyria.

The Lord also [said] to me, [Since] this people refuses the waters of Shiloah, that go [gently] & rejoice in Rezin & Remaliah's son; therefore, now [look,] the Lord brings up upon them, the many waters of the strong river, even the king of Assyria [in] all his glory.

And he shall come up over all his channels & [overflow] all [its] banks. And he shall pass through Judah. He shall overflow & go over & he shall even reach to the neck. And his [stretched] out wings, shall fill the [width] of your land, O [Emmanuel.] [Matthew 1:23 [Watch,] a virgin shall be with Child & shall [deliver] a Son & they shall call His Name Emmanuel, which is being interpreted [as,] God with us.]

[Assemble] yourselves, O you people, & you shall be broken [into] pieces. And [lend your] ear, all you of [distant] countries, [strengthen] yourselves & you shall be broken [into] pieces. Gird yourselves & you shall be broken [into] pieces. [Joel 3:9 You proclaim this among the Gentiles, Prepare [for] war & wake up the mighty men. Let all the men of war draw near & let them come up.]

[Consult] together & it shall come to [nothing.] Speak the word & it shall not [happen:] for God is with us. [Romans 8:31 What shall we say then, to these things? If God [is] for us, who can be against us?]

For the Lord [spoke this] to me with a strong hand & instructed me that I shouldn't [follow] in the way of this people, saying: [Don't] say, [An alliance] to all [those] to [those] whom this people shall say, [An alliance of allies.]

Neither [shall] you fear [what they] fear, nor be afraid. Sanctify the Lord of Hosts, Himself & let Him, [not the kings] be your fear & let Him be your [terror.]

*And He shall be for a sanctuary [to believers;] but for [unbelievers] a Stone of stumbling & a Rock of offense to both houses of Israel, for a [trap] & a snare to the [residents] of Jerusalem. And many among them shall stumble, fall, be broken, [trapped] & taken [away.]

[Tie] up this testimony & seal the Law among my disciples. And I will wait upon the Lord, [Who] hides His face from the house of Jacob, [a.k.a. Israel] & I will look for Him.

*[Look,] I & the children whom the Lord has given [to] me are for signs & for wonders in Israel, from the Lord of Hosts, [Who] dwells in Mount Zion, [a.k.a. Jerusalem.]

And when they say to you, Seek [those who] have familiar spirits, [a.k.a. contacting the dead,] to wizards who [whisper] & mutter. Shouldn't a people seek their God? [Seek] for the Living [not] to the dead? [John 7:69 And we believe & are sure that You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God.]

[And seek] to the Law & to the testimony. If they [don't] speak according to this Word, it's because there is no Light in them. [1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the Light, [like] He is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another. And the blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, cleanses us from all sin.]

And they shall pass through it, [hard-pressed] & hungry & it shall [happen,] when they [are] hungry, they shall [worry] themselves & curse their king & their God & look upward. And they shall look to the earth & [see] trouble, darkness, anguish & [gloom] & they shall be driven to darkness.

[John 3:18-19 He, [who] believes [in] Him is not condemned, but he [who doesn't] believe is condemned already, because he hasn't believed in the Name of the Only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that Light [has] come into the world & men loved darkness rather than Light, because their deeds were evil.]
