About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible::

About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Leviticus 15:1-33 What Shall be Done for Those With a Discharge

What Shall be Done for Those With a Discharge

Leviticus 15:1-33          The Third Book of Moses Called Leviticus

The Lord [spoke] to Moses & Aaron, saying, [Say] to the children [people] of Israel, When any man has a [discharge from his body,] his [discharge] is unclean.

This shall be his uncleanness [in regard to his discharge:] whether his [body] runs with his [discharge] or his [body] is stopped [up] by his [discharge,] it is his uncleanness. Every bed is unclean [that the person] with a discharge lies upon & everything he [sits on] shall be unclean.

[Whoever] touches his bed, sits on [anything] he sat on, touches the [skin] of the person with the [discharge,], or is spit upon, or rides on the same saddle as [the person with a discharge,] or touches or [carries] any things that were under [the person with a discharge] shall wash their clothes & bathe in water & will be unclean until [evening.]

[Whoever] touches [a person with a discharge] & hasn’t rinsed his hands in water, shall wash their hands & bathe in water & wash their clothes & be unclean until [evening.] The earthen [clay] vessel of the person with a [discharge] shall be broken & every vessel of wood shall be rinsed in water.

When the person is cleansed of his [discharge,] he shall [count] 7 days [for his] cleansing & wash his clothes & bathe [his body] in running water & shall be clean.

On the 8th day, he shall take 2 turtle doves or 2 young pigeons & come before the Lord to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation & give them to the priest. The priest shall offer 1 [bird] as a sin offering & the other for a burnt offering. [So,] the priest shall make atonement for him before the Lord, [because of] his [discharge.]

If any man has an [emission of semen, that goes] out from him, then he shall wash his [body] & [every] garments or [leather] in water & be unclean until evening. Also, if a woman lies with a man & [who has an emission of semen,] they shall [both] bathe in water & be unclean until [evening.]

If a woman has a [discharge] from her [body] that is blood, she shall be [set] apart 7 days & whoever touches her, everything she lies on & [sits] on or is on them & [whoever] touches [any of those items] shall be unclean until [evening] & shall wash their clothes & bathe in water. And everything that she lies upon in her [period] of separation, shall be unclean & [whoever] touches her bed, shall wash his clothes & bathes himself in water & be unclean until the [evening.]

If any man [lies] with her at all & her [monthly blood] is on him, he shall be unclean for 7 days & his bed he lies [on.] If a woman has a [discharge] of blood for many days [other than] her [monthly impurity of blood] or it runs beyond her usual [monthly amount of] days of separation, she shall be unclean.

Every bed she lies on or sits on [during her separation] shall be unclean [like]  the [her customary separation.] [Whoever] touches those things shall wash his clothes & bathe in water & shall be unclean until [evening.]

If she [is] cleansed of her [discharge,] she shall [count] 7 days & after that she shall be clean. On the 8th day, she shall take 2 turtle doves or 2 young pigeons & bring them to the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

The priest shall offer 1 [bird] as a sin offering & the other for a burnt offering & the priest shall make atonement for her before the Lord for the [discharge] of her uncleanness.

Thus you shall separate the children [people] of Israel from their uncleanness, [so] they don’t die in their uncleanness & they don’t defile My tabernacle that is among them.

This is the law [for those who] have a [discharge] & [those who emit semen] & is defiled [with it] & to her [who has her customary monthly impurity] & for [either] a man or woman who has a [discharge] & for him who lies with her [while] she is unclean.

Leviticus 14:1-57 The Law of Cleansing the Leper

The Law of Cleansing the Leper

Leviticus 14:1-57           The Third Book of Moses Called Leviticus

The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, This shall be the law of the leper [on] the day of his cleansing. He shall be brought to the priest & the priest shall go [outside] the camp & shall [examine him.]

Behold, if the plague of leprosy [is] healed in the leper; Then the priest shall [order 2 clean live] birds, cedar wood, scarlet & hyssop for the person to be cleansed.

The priest shall [order] that 1 of the birds is killed in an earthen [clay] vessel over running water. He shall take the living bird, the cedar wood, scarlet & hyssop & dip them & the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water:

He shall sprinkle [it] upon the [person] to be cleansed from leprosy 7 times & shall pronounce him clean & shall let the living bird loose into the open field. The [person] to be cleansed shall wash [their] clothes, shave off all his hair & wash himself in water, [so] he may be clean.

After that, he may come into the camp, but must stay outside of his tent for 7 days. On the 7th day, he shall shave off all his hair, beard & eyebrows & wash his clothes & wash [himself] in the water & he shall be clean.

On the 8th day, he shall take 2 [male] lambs & 1 ewe [female] lamb of the 1st year [all] without blemish & 3/10 [ephah] of fine flour for a [meat/grain] offering, [mixed] with oil & 1 log of oil.

The priest [who pronounces] him clean, shall present the man to be made clean & those things before the Lord, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:

The priest shall take 1 [male] lamb & offer him & the log of oil for a trespass offering & wave them for a wave offering before the Lord: He shall [kill] the lamb in the [same] place where he [kills] the sin offering & the burnt offering, in the holy place: [since] the sin offering is the priest’s [portion, so] is the trespass offering. It is most holy.

The priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering & the priest shall put it upon the tip of the right ear, thumb of his right hand & the [big] toe of his right foot of the [one] to be cleansed.

The priest shall take some of the log of oil & pour it into the palm of his left hand & dip his right finger in the oil & sprinkle the oil with his finger 7 times before the Lord.

The priest shall put the [rest] of the oil in his hand upon the tip of the right ear, thumb of his right hand & the [big] toe of his right foot [on top of] the blood of the trespass offering & the [rest] of the oil in the priest’s hand shall be poured on the head of the [one] to be cleansed. The priest shall make atonement for him before the Lord.

The priest shall offer the sin offering & make an atonement for [the one] to be cleansed from his uncleanness. Afterward, [the priest] shall kill the burnt offering & offer it & the [meat/grain] offering upon the altar. The priest shall make atonement for him & he shall be clean.

If the person [is] poor & [can’t get all this,] then he shall take 1 lamb for a trespass offering to be waved & 1/10 [ephah] of fine flour [mixed] with oil for a [meat/grain] offering & a log of oil to make atonement for him;

And 2 turtle doves or 2 young pigeons, as he is able to get. The 1 [bird] shall be a sin offering & the other a burnt offering. He shall bring them on the 8th day to the priest at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, before the Lord for his cleansing.

The priest shall take the lamb of the trespass offering & the log of oil & shall wave them for a wave offering before the Lord & he shall kill the lamb of the trespass offering & take some of [its] blood & put it upon the tip of the right ear, thumb of his right hand & the [big] toe of his right foot of the [one] to be cleansed.

The priest shall take some of the log of oil & pour it into the palm of his left hand & dip his right finger [in] some of the oil & sprinkle the oil with his finger 7 times before the Lord.

The priest shall put the rest of the oil in his hand upon the tip of the right ear, thumb of his right hand & the [big] toe of his right foot [on top of] the blood of the trespass offering & the [rest] of the oil in the priest’s hand shall be poured on the head of the [one] to be cleansed. The priest shall make atonement for him before the Lord.

He shall offer 1 of the turtle doves or 1 young pigeon, [whatever he can get,] the 1 for a sin offering & the other for a burnt offering, with the [meat/grain] offering & the priest shall make atonement for the [one] to be cleansed before the Lord. This is the law of the [person who has] the plague of leprosy, [who can’t afford] to get [what] pertains to his cleansing.

The Lord [spoke] to Moses & Aaron, saying, When you come into the land of Canaan, which I give to you for a possession & I put the plague of leprosy in a house [in] the land of your possession.

He [who owns] a house shall come & tell the priest, saying, It seems to me there is a plague [of spreading mold] in the house: Then the priest shall [order] that they empty the house, before the priest goes into it to see the plague, [so] all [who go into] the house are not made unclean & afterward the priest shall go in to [examine] the house.

He shall [examine] the [mold] on the walls & behold, if the plague of [spreading mold is] in the walls of the house with greenish or reddish [streaks which are deeper than the surface] of the wall; Then the priest shall go out of the house, to the door of the house & shut up the house for 7 days.

The priest shall come again on the 7th day & shall [examine it] & behold, if the plaque [of mold] has spread in the walls of the house; Then the priest shall [order] that they take away the stones that have the [plague of mold in them] & they shall [throw them] into an unclean place [outside] the city.

[The priest] shall cause the house to be scraped [around the inside.] The dust that they scrape off shall [be poured out, outside] the city into an unclean place. They shall take [the] other stones & put them in the place of [the removed] stones & shall plaster the house with [new] mortar.

If the plague [of mold returns] & breaks out in the house, after he has [already] taken away the stones & scraped the house & plastered it; Then the priest shall come & examine [it] & if the plague [has] spread in the house, it is an [active] leprosy [of spreading mold] in the house & it is unclean.

He shall break down the house, the stones, the timber, & the mortar of the house & it shall [all] be carried [outside] the city into an unclean place. [Also, the person who] goes into the house while it is shut up, shall be unclean until the [evening.]

[The person who] lies in the house or eats in the house shall wash [their] clothes. If the priest comes to [examine the house] & behold the plague [of mold hasn’t] spread in the house after it was plastered, then the priest shall pronounce the house clean, because the plague [of mold] is healed.

He shall take to cleanse the house 2 birds, cedar wood, scarlet & hyssop. He shall kill 1 of the birds in an earthen [clay] vessel over running water: He shall take the cedar wood, the scarlet & the living bird & dip them in the blood of the [killed] bird & in running water & sprinkle the house 7 times:

He shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird & with the running water & with the living bird, the cedar wood, hyssop & scarlet: But he shall let the living bird go [outside] the city into the open fields & make atonement for the house & it shall be clean.

This [plus the previous few chapters are] the law for all [kinds] of plagues of leprosy, [scaly diseases of the skin,] leprosy of garments & [leprosy of mold for] the house, swelling, [scabs,] & for a bright spot: To teach [them] when it is unclean and when it is clean. This is the law of leprosy.

Leviticus 13:1-59 [If]-[Then] Format to Determine if a Sore or a Garment is Leprous

[If]-[Then] Format to Determine if a Sore or a Garment is Leprous

Leviticus 13:1-59      The Third Book of Moses Called Leviticus

The Lord spoke to Moses & Aaron saying, [If] a man has in the flesh of his skin a [swelling,] a scab, or a bright spot & [it's] in the flesh of his skin like the plague of leprosy, [then] he shall be brought to Aaron, the priest, or [to] one of his sons, the priests.

[If] the priest [examines] the [sore] in the skin of the flesh & the hair in the [sore has] turned white & the skin in the [sore looks] deeper than the skin of his flesh, [then] it is a plague  of leprosy & the priest shall look [at[ him & pronounce him unclean.

[If] the bright spot is white in the skin of his flesh & [doesn't look] deeper than the skin of his [body] & the hair hasn’t turned white; [then] the priest shall [isolate] the person with the [sore] for 7 days.

[If] the priest [examines] him on the 7th day & [sees the sore is the same & hasn’t] spread in the skin, [then] the priest shall [isolate] him 7 more days. [If] the priest [examines] him again on the 7th day & [sees the sore] is somewhat dark & the [sore hasn’t] spread in the skin, [then] the priest shall pronounce him clean. It is [just] a scab & he shall wash his clothes & be clean.

[If] the scab [should] spread [over] much of the skin, after his [examination] by the priest for his cleansing, [then] he shall be seen by the priest again. [If] the priest [sees] that the scab has spread in the skin, [then] the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is leprosy.

[If] the plague of leprosy is in a man [then] he shall be brought to the priest. [If] the priest who [examines] him [sees] the [swelling] is white in the skin & the hair [has] turned white & there is raw flesh in the [swelling,] [then] it is an old leprosy in the skin of his flesh & the priest shall pronounce him unclean & shall not [isolate] him: for he is unclean.

[If] leprosy spreads out [over] the skin & covers all the skin of the [person who] has the plague from his head to his [toe, wherever] the priest looks, [Then] the priest shall consider [it.]  [If] the leprosy has covered all his flesh, [then] he shall pronounce him clean [who] has the plague: It is all turned white & he is clean.

[If] raw flesh appears in him, [then] he shall be unclean. [If] the priest [sees] the raw flesh, [then] he will pronounce him unclean: For raw flesh is unclean: it is leprosy.

[If] the raw flesh [turns] again & changes to white, [then] he shall come to the priest. [If] the priest [sees] him & [sees] the plague has turned white, [then] the priest shall pronounce him clean, [who had] the plague. He is clean.

[If] the flesh of the skin also [has] a boil [or ulcer] & is healed, [then] if the place of the boil [has] a white swelling, a bright spot & is white & somewhat reddish, [then] it [should be shown] to the priest. [If] the priest [sees] it is [deeper] in the skin & the hair [of it has] turned white; [then] the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is a plague of leprosy broken out of the boil.

[If] the priest looks [at] it & [sees] there [are] no white hairs [in it] & [it’s] not [deeper] than the skin, but [is] somewhat dark; [then] the priest shall [isolate] him 7 days. [If] it spreads much [over] the skin, [then,] the priest shall pronounce him unclean: It is an [infection or a sore from leprosy.]

[If] the bright spot [remains] in [its] place & doesn’t spread, it is a burning boil, [then] the priest shall pronounce him clean. [If] there is [burn] on your flesh & the [raw portion of] the burned flesh has a bright white spot, somewhat reddish or white; [Then] the priest shall [examine] it. [If he sees] the hair in the bright spot [has] turned white & [it’s] deeper than the skin; [then] it is a leprosy broken out of the burn & the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is an [infection or] plague of leprosy.

[If] the priest [examines it & sees] there is no white hair in the bright spot & it isn’t lower than the other skin, but is somewhat dark, [then] the priest shall [isolate] him 7 days. [If] the priest [examines it] the 7th day & it has spread much [over] the skin, [then] the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is a plague of leprosy.

[If] the bright spot [stays in its] place & doesn’t spread in the skin & is somewhat dark, it is the [swelling] of the [burn,] [then] the priest shall pronounce him clean. It is an inflammation of the burn.

[If] a man or woman has a plague upon [their] head or beard; [Then] the priest shall [examine] the plague & [look if it’s] deeper than the skin & there is a thin yellow hair in it; [then] the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a dry [eruption of the skin,] even a leprosy upon the head or beard.

[If] the priest [looks at] the plague of the [eruption on the skin] & [sees it’s] not deeper than the skin & [there’s] no black hair in it; [then] the priest shall [isolate] him 7 days. [If] the 7th day, the priest [sees] it hasn’t spread & there is no yellow hair & the [wound isn’t] deeper than the skin, [then] he shall be [shaved, but] the wound [area shouldn’t be shaved,] [then,] priest shall [isolate] him 7 more days.

[If on] the 7th day, the priest looks at the [eruption of the skin] & it hasn’t spread in the skin & isn’t deeper than the skin; [then] the priest shall pronounce him clean & he shall wash his clothes & shall be clean.

[If] [eruption of the skin has] spread [over] much of the skin after his cleansing; [Then] the priest shall [examine] him. [If the priest sees] the [eruption] has spread in the skin. [Then,] the priest shall not [look] for a yellow hair. He is unclean.

[If] the priest [sees] the [eruption of the skin hasn’t spread] & there is a black hair grown [in it]; [then] the [eruption of the skin] has healed & the priest shall pronounce him clean.

[If] a man or a woman has bright spots [or] white spots in the flesh of their skin; [Then] the priest shall [examine them.] [If] the priest [examines & sees] the bright spots in the flesh of their skin [is] darkish white; [then] it is a freckled spot that grows in the skin; he is clean.

[If] the man whose hair [has] fallen off his head, [then] he is bald; yet, he is clean. [If] his hair [falls] from part of his head toward his face, [then] he is forehead bald: yet [he] is clean.

[If] there [is] a bald head or bald forehead & a reddish-white sore; [then] it is a leprosy sprung up on his bald head or his bald forehead. [If] the priest looks on it & [sees] the swelling of the sore [is] reddish-white in his bald head, or his bald forehead, it's a leprosy sprung up [on] his bald head or forehead. [Then] the priest shall [examine] it. [If the priest sees] the [swelling] of the sore [is] reddish white [on] his bald head, or in his bald forehead [like] leprosy appears in the skin of the flesh; [then] he is a leprous man & he is unclean. The priest will pronounce him [totally] unclean. His plague is in his head.

[If] a leper [who] has the plague, [then] his clothes shall be [torn] & his head [shall be] bare. He shall put a covering upon his upper lip & shall cry [out,] Unclean, unclean. [If] all the days [he has] the plague [on] him, he shall be defiled. [If] he is unclean: [then] he shall dwell alone & [live] outside the camp.

[If] the plague of leprosy is inside a garment, whether [its] a woolen garment, or a linen garment; or [is] in the [woven threads] of [linen] or wool, or in [leather or] in anything made of [leather] & the plague is greenish or reddish in the garment or the [leather]; [then] it is a plague of leprosy & shall be [shown] to the priest.

[If] the priest [examines] the plague in it, [then he will] shut it up for 7 days. [If] the priest [looks] the 7th day & the plague [has] spread in the [woven threads] of the garment or anything made with [leather;] [then] the plague is an [active] leprosy; it is unclean & it shall be burned in the fire.

[If] the priest [examines it] & [sees,] the plague hadn’t spread in the [woven threads] of the garment or anything made of [leather]; [Then] the priest shall command that they wash the [item] the plague was in & shut it up 7 more days.

[If] the priest [examines] the plague after it is washed & [sees] it hasn’t changed [its] color & the plague hasn’t spread; [then] it is unclean & shall be burned in the fire. It is [an active plague, whether it is threadbare inside or outside.]

[If] the priest [examines] the plague & it is somewhat dark after washing it; [then] he shall [tear] it out of the garment, or out of the [leather,] or out of the [woven threads or skin.] [If] it still [appears] in the garment, in the [woven threads,] or the [leather] thing, [then] it is a spreading plague & you shall burn the [item with the plague in] fire.

[If] the garment is washed & the plague has departed from it, either in the [woven threads,] or the [item of leather,] [then] it shall be washed a 2nd time & shall be clean.

This is the law of the plague of leprosy in a garment of [wool] or linen, either  in the [woven threads] or anything of [leather,] to pronounce it clean; or to pronounce it unclean.

Leviticus 12:1-8 Having a Male Child Circumcised

Having a Male Child Circumcised

Leviticus 12:1-8        The Third Book of Moses Called Leviticus

The Lord [spoke] to Moses, saying, Speak to the children [people] of Israel, saying, If a woman has conceived & bore a male child, then she shall be unclean 7 days; according to the [amount of] days of separation for her [during] the days of her [monthly] infirmity, she shall be unclean.

[On] the 8th day, the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised. Then, she shall continue in the blood of her [purification] 33 days. She shall not touch any hallowed thing, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her [purification are] fulfilled.

But if she [bears] a [female] child, then she shall be unclean for 2 weeks, [like] in her separation. She shall continue in the blood of her [purification] for 66 days.

When the days of her [purification] are [complete,] whether for a son, or for a daughter, she shall bring a lamb in its 1st year to the priest for a burnt offering & a young pigeon or a turtle dove as a sin offering, to the priest [at] the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

[The priest] shall offer it before the Lord and make an [atonement] for her & she shall be cleansed from the [flow] of her blood. This is the law for her [who] has [given birth to] a male or female child.

And if she [isn’t] able to bring a lamb, then she may bring 2 turtle [doves] or 2 young pigeons, 1 as a burnt offering & the other [one] for a sin offering. The priest shall make atonement for her & she shall be clean.

Leviticus 11:1-47 What Can and Can’t be Eaten by the Israelites

What Can and Can’t be Eaten by the Israelites

Leviticus 11:1-47          The Third Book of Moses Called Leviticus

The Lord [spoke] to Moses & Aaron & [told] them, Speak to the children [people] of Israel, saying, These are the [animals] you shall eat among all the [animals] that are on the earth: [whatever completely parts] [divides] the hoof, with cloven [hooves] [each of 2 toes with a totally separated hoof] & chews the cud [chews their food again to fully digest it,] [are] among the [animals] that you shall eat.

[However,] you shall not eat of [these animals] that are unclean to you, that chew the cud, or of those that divide the hoof: [like] the camel, the cony [a.k.a. rock hyrax] & the hare [a.k.a. rabbit,] because [they each] chew the cud, but [don’t] divide the  [hooves.] And the swine [a.k.a. pig, although it divides] the hoof & [has] cloven [hooves,] yet [it doesn’t] chew the cud. And you shall not eat their flesh [meat or] touch their carcass; they are all unclean to you.

The carcass of every [animal] that divides the [hooves] & [doesn't] have cloven [hooves,] nor chews the cud, are unclean to you. Everyone [who] touches them shall be unclean.

And [whatever] goes upon [its] paws, among all [types of animals] that go on all [fours,] those are uncle to you. [Whoever] touchess their carcass shall be unclean until the [evening.] And he [who carries its] carcass, shall wash his clothes & be unclean until [evening.] They are unclean to you.

These you shall eat of all that are in the waters: [whatever] has fins & scales whether in the seas or in the rivers. You shall eat them.

[Don’t eat] all that [don't]  have fins & scales, in the seas or rivers, of all that move in the waters, & of any living thing [that] is in the waters. You shouldn’t eat their flesh or touch their carcass. Even they shall be an abomination [detestable] to you. They shall be an abomination to you. [Whatever] has no fins, nor scales in the waters, shall be an abomination [detestable] to you.

These are [the unclean] fowls [a.k.a. birds] which are [considered an] abomination, after their kind & shouldn’t be eaten: the eagle, the ossifrage [a.k.a bearded vulture] & the osprey [a.k.a. buzzard,] after [its] kind; the vulture &  kite, after [its] kind; every raven after [its] kind; the  owl, nighthawk, cuckow [a.k.a. cuckoo,] hawk after [its] kind; the little owl, the cormorant, the great owl, the swan, the pelican, the gier eagle, the stork, the heron after [its] kind; the lapwing [a.k.a plover & the bat. All [birds] that creep, going upon all [fours,] shall be an abomination [detestable] to you.

Yet, you may eat of every flying, creeping [insect] that goes on all fours that have [jointed] legs above their feet to leap on the earth; [like] these you may eat: the locust after [its] kind; bald locust after [its] kind; beetle after [its] kind & the grasshopper after [its] kind. But all other flying creeping things, [that] have 4 feet, shall be an abomination to you. For these shall be unclean for you.

[Whoever] touches the carcass of them shall be unclean until the [evening.] [Whoever carries any] of the [carcasses] of them, shall wash his clothes & be unclean until [evening.]

These shall also be unclean to you among the creeping things that creep on the earth: the weasel, the mouse, & the tortoise, after [its] kind. And the ferret, the chameleon, the lizard, the snail & the mole

These are unclean to you among all that creep. [Whoever touches] them, when they [are] dead, shall be unclean until [evening.]

[Whatever] of any of them [falls,] upon when they are dead, shall be unclean. Whether it [falls in] any [container] of wood, or] clothing, or skin, or sack, or [whatever] vessel it [is,] where any work is done, it must be put into water. And it shall be unclean until the [evening.]  [That's how] it shall be cleansed.

And every earthen vessel [made of clay,] where any of them falls & [whatever] is in it is unclean & you should break it. [If any water falls from the contaminated vessel] on all meat, all [drinks,] in every vessel, shall be unclean.

Everything that a part of their carcass falls [on] shall be unclean; whether [it’s] an oven, or ranges [stoves] for pots, it shall be broken down; for they are unclean & shall be unclean to you.

Nevertheless a [spring] or pit [cistern or well,] in which there is plenty of water, shall be clean, but [whatever] touches their carcass shall be unclean .

If any part of their carcass [falls] upon any [planting] seed which is to be sown, it shall be clean. But if any water is put on the seed & any part of their carcass [falls on it,] it shall be unclean to you.

If any [animal], which you may eat, dies & he [who] touches [its] carcass [of it] shall be unclean until [evening.] He  eats or [carries] the carcass of it, shall wash his clothes & be unclean until [evening.]

And every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth shall be an abomination [detestable.] It shall not be eaten.  [Whatever] crawls on [its] belly & [whatever] goes on all [fours,] or [whatever] has [many] feet among all creeping things that creep on the earth, you shall not eat them, for they are an abomination [detestable.]

You shall not make yourselves abominable [detestable] with any creeping thing that creeps. Neither shall you make yourselves unclean with them, [so] that you [may] be defiled [by them.]  For I am the Lord your God & you shall sanctify yourselves. You shall be holy; for I Am holy. Neither shall you defile yourselves with any [type] of creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.

For I am the Lord [Who brought] you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: Therefore, you shall be holy, for I am holy. This is the law [related to:] the [animals,] the [birds] & of every living creature that moves in the waters or creeps upon the earth. To [distinguish] between the unclean & the clean & between the [animals] that may be eaten & the [animals] that may not be eaten.
