About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

1 Kings 16:1-34 King Baasha Does Wickedly Like Jeroboam Did

King Baasha Does Wickedly Like Jeroboam Did

1 Kings 16:1-34                               1 Kings [in Smaller Chunks]

When the word of the Lord came to Jehu, [Hanai’s] son, against Baasha, [king of Israel who did wickedly,] saying, [Since,] I exalted you out of the [dirt] & made you prince over My people, Israel, you have walked in the way of Jeroboam [who made 2 gold calves & told the Israelites to worship them, instead of the Lord God].

[You] have made My people sin [&] provoked Me to anger with their sins. [Watch,] I will take away the [descendants] of Baasha & his house & will make your houses like the house of Jeroboam, [Nebat's] son.

The dogs shall eat [those of Baasha's] family [who] die in the city & the [birds] of the air shall eat those of his [who] die in the fields. [Aren't] the rest of [Baasha's actions] written in the Book of Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?

So, Baasha [died] & slept with his [forefathers] & was buried in Tirzah. Elah, his son, [ruled] in his [place]. By the hand of the prophet, Jehu, [Hanani's] son, the word of the Lord came against Baasha & his house [family.]

[Because of] all the evil [Baasha] did in the sight of the Lord [in worshiping false gods] & provoking [the Lord God] to anger with the work of his hands & being like the house of Jeroboam & He killed [Baasha].

[During] the 26th year Asa [ruled as Judah's] king, Elah, [Baasha's] son, began to [rule] over Israel in Tirzah, [for] 2 years. His servant, Zimri, captain of 1/2 of his chariots, conspired against him, [while Elah] was in Tirzah [getting] drunk in the house of Arza, steward of his house in Tirzah.

Zimri went in & [killed Elah during] the 27th year Asa [was Judah's] king. [Zimri ruled over Israel] in his [place]. When [Zimri] began to [rule,] as soon as he sat on his throne, he [killed] all the [family] of Baasha & [didn't leave even] 1 male of [Baasha's family or] friends alive.

Thus, Zimri destroyed all [Baasha's family,] according to the word of the Lord, which He [spoke] against Baasha by Jehu, the prophet. For all the sins of Baasha & his son, [Elah's] sins in [worshiping false gods] & made Israel sin & provoked the Lord God of Israel to anger with their [idols] [false gods]

[Aren't] the rest of [Elah's actions] & all he did written in the Book of Chronicles of the Kings of Israel? Zimri [ruled] 7 days [during] the 27th year Asa, [Judah's] king [ruled].

The [Israelites camped] against Gibbethon, [that] belonged to the Philistines. When the [Israelites who camped,] heard Zimri had conspired & [killed] the king, [then,] all Israel made Omri, the captain of the [army, Israel's] king that day in the camp.

Omri & all Israel [left] Gibbethon & [attacked] Tirzah. When Zimri saw the city was [captured,] he went into the palace of the king's house & burned [it] with fire [with him inside] & died.

[Because of] his sins in doing evil in the sight of the Lord, in walking in the way of Jeroboam, [who worshiped false gods] & [made] Israel sin. [Aren't] the rest of [Zimri's actions] & the treason he [did] written in the Book of Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?

Then, the people of Israel divided into 2 [groups]. Half the people followed Tibni, [Ginath's] son, to make him king & 1/2 followed Omri. The people [who] followed Omri prevailed against [those who] followed Tibni. So. Tibni died & Omri [ruled].

[During Asa's] 31st year as [Judah's] king, Omri began to [rule] over Israel [for] 12 years & he [ruled] in Tirzah for 6 years. He bought the hill of Samaria [from] Shemer for 2 talents of silver. He built a city on the hill & [named] the city after Shemer, [the] owner of the hill.

But Omri [did] evil in the sight of the Lord & did worse than all [who] were before him. He walked in the [ways] of Jeroboam, [Nebat's] son, [in making & worshiping false gods] & made Israel to sin & provoked the Lord God of Israel to anger with their [idols].

[Aren't] the rest of [Omri's actions that] he did & his might that he [showed] are written in the Book of Chronicles of the Kings of Israel? Omri [died] & slept with his [forefathers] & was buried in Samaria. Ahab, his son, [ruled] in his [place].

[During] the 38th year Asa, [Judah's king ruled,] Ahab, [Omri's] son, began to [rule] over Israel & he [ruled] in Samaria over Israel [for] 22 years. Ahab, [Omri's] son, did evil in the sight of the Lord, [worse than] all before him.

As if it had been a [small] thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam, [Nebat's] son [in making & worshiping false gods,] he [married] Jezebel, the daughter of Ethbaal, the [Zidonian's] king, & went & served Baal [a false god] & worshiped [it].

[Ahab made] an altar for Baal [a false god] & in the house of Baal, he built in Samaria, Ahab made a grove [to worship the idol] & he did more to provoke the Lord God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel that were before him.

In his days, Hiel, the Bethelite, [rebuilt] Jericho & he laid [its] foundation [there, along with the loss of] Abiram, his firstborn [son]. [He put] up [its] gates [there, along with the loss of] his youngest son, Segub, according to the word of the Lord, [that] He spoke by Joshua, the son of Nun.
