About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

2 Kings 3:1-27 Three Kings Attack Moab

Three Kings Attack Moab

2 Kings 3:1-27                             2 Kings [in Smaller Chunks]

Now, in the 18th year Jehoshaphat, [Judah's] king, [ruled,]  Jehoram, [a.k.a. Joram,] [Ahab's] son, began to [rule] over Israel in Samaria & [ruled] 12 years. [Joram did wickedly,] in the sight of the Lord, but not like his father & mother; for he put away the image of Baal that his father had made.

[But Joram still clung] to the sins of Jeroboam, [Nebat's] son, [who] made Israel sin & he didn't depart from [doing so.] [1 Kings 12:28-30 [Upon which] king [Jeroboam] took counsel & made 2 calves of gold & said to [the Israelites,] It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem [to sacrifice.] [See] your gods, O Israel, [that] took you up out of the land of Egypt.

And [Jeroboam put] the one in BethEl & he put the other in Dan. And this thing became a son for the people [who] went to worship before the one, even to Dan.]

And Mesha, [Moab's] king, was a [sheep breeder & he gave] to [Israel's] king, 100,000 lambs & 100,000 rams with the wool. But it [happened,] when Ahab was dead, [Moab's] king rebelled against [Israel's] king.

And king [Joram] went out of Samaria the same time & [mustered] all Israel. [Joram] went & sent to Jehoshaphat, [Judah's] king, saying, The king of Moab has rebelled against me. Will you go to battle with me against Moab?

[Jehoshaphat] said, I will go up. I am [like] you [are,] my people [like] your people & my horses [like] your horses & [asked,] Which [road] shall we go up? [Joram] answered, The [road] through the Wilderness of Edom.

So, the [kings of:] Israel, Judah & Edom [got] a compass & [traveled] 7 days & there wasn't [any] water for the [army or] the [livestock] that followed them. And the king of Israel said, Alas! [Has] the Lord called these 3 kings together to deliver them into the hand of Moab!

But Jehoshaphat said, Isn't there a prophet of the Lord, [so] we may [ask] of the Lord by him? One of the king of Israel's servants answered, [There] is Elisha, [Shaphat's] son, [who] poured water on the hands of Elijah.

And Jehoshaphat said, The Word of the Lord is with him. So, Jehoshaphat & [Israel's] king & [Edom's] king went down to [Elisha.] Elisha said to [Israel's] king, What do I have [to] do with you? [Go] to the prophets of your father & mother.

And [Israel's] king said to [Elisha, No,] for the Lord [has] called these 3 kings together, to deliver them into the hand of Moab. And Elisha said, As the Lord of Hosts lives, before Whom I stand, surely, [if] it weren't that I [respected] Jeshophat, [Judah’s] king, I wouldn't [even] look toward you, nor see you.

But now, bring me a [musician.] And it [happened,] when the [musician] played, that the hand of the Lord came upon [Elisha.] And [Elisha] said, The Lord says [this,] Make this valley full of ditches.

For the Lord says [this,] You shall not see wind [nor] rain, [but still] the valley shall be filled with water, [so] both you & your [livestock & animals] may drink. But this is a [little] thing in the sight of the Lord. He will also deliver the Moabites into your hand.

And you shall [attack] every [fenced] city & the [best cities] & shall [cut down] every good tree & stop [up] all the wells of water & [ruin] every good piece of land, with [rocks.]

And it [happened] in the morning, when the [meat/grain sacrifice] was offered. [Suddenly,] water came there by the [roadside] of Edom & the country was filled with water.

And when all the Moabites heard the kings [had] come up to fight against them, they gathered all [who] were able to put on armor & [older] & stood [at] the border. They rose up early in the morning & the sun shone upon the water & the Moabites saw the water on the other side & [it looked] red [like] blood.

And [the Moabites] said, This is blood. The kings have surely [killed] one another & are now [dead.] Therefore, now Moab, [Go & get the plunder.] And when they came to the [Israelite's] camp, the Israelites rose up & [attacked] the Moabites.

So, that [the Moabites] fled [in front of] them. But the [Israelites] went forward, attacking the Moabites, even in their country. [The Israelites] beat down the cities & each man [threw rocks] on every good piece of land & they stopped [up] all the wells of water & [cut down] all the good trees.

They only left the [rocks in place] in Kir Haraseth. [However the rock] slingers [surrounded Moab & attacked] it. And when [Moab's] king saw the battle was too [powerful] against him, he took 700 [swords] men with him to break through to the king of Edom, but couldn't.

Then, [Moab's king] took his eldest son [who] should have [ruled] in his [place] & offered him for a burnt sacrifice upon the wall. [Moab had] great indignation against Israel & [the Israelites left] from [Moab’s king] & returned to their own land.
