About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

1 Kings 4:1-34 Those Solomon Puts in Charge

Those Solomon Puts in Charge

1 Kings 4:1-34                               1 Kings [in Smaller Chunks]

So, king Solomon was king over all [of] Israel. These were his [officials that] he had: Azariah [was] priest, [Zadok’s] son; Elihoreph & Ahiah [were] scribes, [Shisha’s] sons; Jehoshaphat [was] recorder, [Ahilud’s] son;

Benaiah was over the [army,] [Jehoiada’s] son; Zadok & Abiathar were priests; Azariah was over officers, [Nathan’s] son; Zabud was the [chief] officer & the king's friend, [Nathan’s other] son;

Ahishar was over the [king’s] household & Adoniram was over [forced labor,] [Abda’s] son. Solomon had 12 officers over all Israel, [who] provided [food] for the king & his household.

Each man [had his month, [during] a year [to provide food]. These are their names [& their regions:] [Note: Ben- means the son of & lists the father’s family name.]

Ben-Hur, in Mount Ephraim; Ben- Dekar, in Makaz, Shaalbim, Beth Shemesh & Elon Beth Hanan; Ben-Hesed, in Aruboth & [also] Sochoh & all the land of Hepher [pertained] to him.

Ben-Abinadab, [who married] Taphath, [Solomon’s] daughter & [had] all the region of Dor; Baana, [Ahilud’s] son, [these regions pertained to him:] Taanach, Megiddo, Beth Shean by Zartanah [below] Jezreel, from Beth Shean to Abel Meholah, even beyond Jokneam.

Ben-Geber & [these pertained to him:] Ramoth-Gilead & the towns of Jair, [Manasseh’s] son, [that] are in Gilead & also the region of Argob in Bashan, [with] 60 [large] cities with walls & [gates with] brass bars.

Ahinadab, [Iddo’s] son [in] Mahanaim; Ahimaaz in Naptali & he also [married] Basmath, [Solomon’s other] daughter. Baanah, [Hushai’s] son in Asher & Aloth. Jehoshaphat, [Paruah’s] son in Issachar; Shimei, [Elah’s] son in Benjamin;

Geber, [Uri’s] son in the country of Gilead, [that used to belong to] Sihon, the king of the Amorites & Og, the king of Bashan. [Geber] was the only officer [that] was in the land.

Judah & Israel [had] many [people, a] multitude, [as numerous] as the sand by the sea, [who were] eating, drinking & making merry. Solomon ruled over all kingdoms from the river [all the way] to the [Philistines’] land & to the border of Egypt.

They brought presents & served Solomon all the days of his life. The [food] for [Solomon & his household] for 1 day was 30 measures of fine flour, 60 measures of meal, 10 [fattened] oxen, 20 oxen [from] the pastures, 100 sheep,

[in addition to deer, antelope, reddish deer & fattened poultry]. [Solomon ruled] over all the region on this side [of] the [Euphrates] River, from Tiphsah even to Azzah [a.k.a. Gaza].

[Solomon was] over all the kings on [the west] side [of] the river & he had peace all [around] him. Judah & Israel [lived] safely, every man under his [own] vine & fig tree, from Dan to Beer Sheba, [throughout Solomon’s life].

Solomon had 40,000 stalls of horses for his chariots & 12,000 horsemen. Those officers provided [food] for king Solomon & all [who] came to king Solomon’s table, [each one during] his month, [so] they lacked nothing.

Also, they brought to the place where the officers were, barley & straw for the horses & [swift steeds, each] according to his [responsibility].

God gave Solomon [great] wisdom, understanding & [knowledge, without measure like] the sand on the seashore. Solomon’s wisdom [exceeded] the wisdom of all the children [people] of the countries in the East & all the wisdom of Egypt.

For [Solomon] was wiser than all men, [even wiser] than Ethan, the Ezrahite, Heman, Charcoal & Darda, [Mahol’s] sons. [Solomon’s] fame was [had been spread around] in all [the] nations.

[Solomon] spoke 3,000 proverbs & [he wrote] 1,005 songs. He spoke of trees, from the cedar tree in Lebanon, even to the hyssop [tree] that springs out of the wall.

He also spoke of [animals, birds] & things [that creep like insects] & [about] fish. [Because they] heard of [Solomon’s] wisdom, people & kings came [from all over] the earth to hear his wisdom.
