About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

1 Kings 19:1-21 Elijah Escapes Jezebel's Threat on His Life

Elijah Escapes Jezebel's Threat on His Life

1 Kings 19:1-21                               1 Kings [in Smaller Chunks]

[King] Ahab told [queen] Jezebel all Elijah had done & how he had [killed] the [false] prophets [of the false god, Baal] with a sword.

Then, Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah, saying, Let the gods do to me & more also, if I don't make your life [like] the life of [1 of these dead prophets] by tomorrow [around] this time.

When [Elijah] saw that [his life was threatened,] he arose & [ran] for his life & left his servant there. [Elijah] went a day's journey into the wilderness & came & sat down under a juniper tree & requested that he might die & said, O Lord, take my life, for I'm not better than my [forefathers].

As [Elijah] slept under the juniper tree & an Angel touched him & said, Arise & eat. [Elijah] looked & [saw] a cake [of bread] was [cooking] there on the coals & a [jug] of water [was by] his head. He ate & drank & laid down again.

The Angel of the Lord came again the 2nd time & touched him & said, Arise & eat; because the journey is too [long] for you. [Elijah] arose & ate & drank & went [in] the strength of that [food for] 40 days & nights to Horeb, the Mount of God.

[Elijah went into] a cave & lodged there & behold, the word of the Lord [God] came to him & He said to [Elijah,] What [are you doing] here, Elijah?

[Elijah] said, I have been very [zealous] for the Lord God of Hosts: for the children [people] of Israel have [abandoned] Your covenant [contract] & thrown down Your altars & [killed] Your prophets with the sword & I am the only 1 left.

They seek to take my life away. [The Lord] said, Go [out] & stand upon the mount before the Lord. behold, the Lord passed by & a great, strong wind [tore] the mountains & broke the rocks [into] pieces before the Lord; but the Lord wasn't in the wind.

After the wind, [there was] an earthquake; but the Lord wasn't in the earthquake. After the earthquake, [there was] a fire; but the Lord wasn't in the fire.

After the fire, [there was] a still, small voice & it was when Elijah heard it, he wrapped his face in his [cloak] & went out & stood in the [cave's] entrance. Behold, a voice came to him & said, What [are you doing] here, Elijah?

[Again, Elijah] said, I have been very [zealous] for the Lord God of Hosts; because the [people] of Israel have [abandoned] Your covenant [contact,] thrown down Your altars & [killed] Your prophets with the sword & only I am left & they seek to take my life.

The Lord said to him, Go & return on your way to the Wilderness of Damascus. When you come [there,] anoint Hazael to be king over Syria. You shall [also] anoint Jehu, [Nimshi's] son, to be king over Israel.

You shall anoint Elisha, [Shaphat's] son, [who was] the son of Abel Meholah, to be [the] priest in your [place]. It shall [happen] that [the person who] escapes [death by] the sword of Hazael, Jehu shall [kill].

And [the person who] escapes the sword of Jehu, Elisha shall [kill]. I, [the Lord God,] have left 7,000 in Israel for Me who haven't bowed [their] knees to Baal [a false god] or kissed him.

[Then,] Elijah departed & found Elisha, [Shaphat's] son, who was plowing with 12 [pairs] of oxen [in front of] him & he was behind the 12th [pair]. Elijah passed by [Elisha] & [Elijah threw his cloak on Elisha].

[Elisha] left the oxen & ran after Elijah & said, I pray that you let me kiss my father & mother & then, I will follow you. [Elijah] said to [Elisha,] Go back again: for what have I done to you?

And [Elisha left Elijah] & returned. [Elisha] took a [pair] of oxen & killed & boiled [them] with the oxen's [tools] & gave [it to] the people & they [ate]. Then, [Elisha] arose & went after Elijah & ministered to him.
