About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

2 Kings 10:1-36 Ahab's 70 Sons are Killed

Ahab's 70 Sons are Killed

2 Kings 10:1-36                            2 Kings [in Smaller Chunks]

Ahab had 70 sons in Samaria. And Jehu wrote & sent letters to the [rulers] of Jezreel, the elders & to [the guardians who] brought up Ahab's children in Samaria, saying, You are in a [walled] city & have armor, chariots & horses.

Now, as soon as this letter comes to you, [since] your master's sons are with you, [search for] the best & [strongest] of your master's sons & [put] him on his father's throne & fight for your master's house.

But they were [very] afraid & said, [Look,] 2 kings couldn't stand [against Jehu,] then, how shall we stand [against him?] And the [officers] over the house, the city, the elders & [the children's guardians,] sent to Jehu, saying, We are your servants & will do all you [ask of] us. Do [what] is good in your eyes.

Then, [Jehu] wrote a letter to them a 2nd time, saying, If you [will] be mine & will [pay attention] to my voice, take [all] the heads of your master's sons & come to Jezreel to me this time tomorrow. Now, king [Ahab's] 70 sons were with [important] men of the city, [who] brought them up.

And it [happened,] when the letter came to them, they took & [killed] the 70 sons [of Ahab] & put their heads in baskets & sent them to Jezreel. A messenger came there & told [Jehu,] saying, They have brought the heads of the king's sons.

And [Jehu] said, Lay them in 2 [piles] at the [entrance] of the gate until morning. In the morning. And it [happened,] that [Jehu] went out & stood & said to all the people, You are [innocent.]

[Look,] I conspired against my master & [killed] him, but who [killed] all these? [You should] know [that not] a Word the Lord has [spoken against] the house of Ahab, [will be left undone.]

For the Lord has done [what] he [spoke] by His servant, Elijah. [1 Kings 21:24-26 [Males] of Ahab that die in the city, the dogs shall eat & [males] that die in the field, the [birds] of the air [shall] eat.

But there was none [similar] to Ahab, [who sold] himself to [do] wickedness in the sight of the Lord, whom Jezebel, his wife, stirred up. And [Ahab] did very abominably [by] following idols, according to all things [like the] Amorites did, whom the Lord [threw] out before the children [people] of Israel.]

So, Jehu [killed all who] remained of the house of Ahab, his [important] men, [relatives] & his priests, until none [were] left remaining. And [Jehu left & went] to Samaria.

[Since Jehu] was at the shearing-house [on] the way, Jehu met with the [relatives] of Ahaziah [Judah's] king, & said, Who are you? They answered, We are the [relatives] of Ahaziah & we [are] going down to salute the children of the king & queen.

And [Jehu] said, Take them alive. They took 42 [of] them alive & killed them at the pit of the shearing house & [he didn't leave] any of them. When [Jehu left] from [there,] & he [came upon] Jehonadab, the son of [Rechab a.k.a Rekab, who was] coming to meet him.

[Jehu greeted] him & said to him, Is your heart [as loyal to me, as I am to you?] And Johonadab answered, It is. [Jehu said,] If it [is,] give me your hand & he gave [Jehu] his hand, [Jehu] took [Jehonadab] into [his] chariot.

And [Jehu] said, Come with me & see my zeal for the Lord [God.] So, they made [Jehonadab] ride in [Jehu's] chariot. And when [Jehu] came to Samaria, he [killed] all [who] remained to Ahab in Samaria, [until] he had destroyed [them,] according to [what] the Lord [said when] He [spoke] to Elijah.

Jehu gathered all the people together & said to them, Ahab served Baal a little, but Jehu shall serve him [a lot.] Therefore, now call to me all the prophets of Baal, all [Baal's] servants & all his priests.

Let [none who worship Baal be left:] for I have a great sacrifice to do to Baal. [Whoever doesn't come] shall not live. But Jehu [had secretly plotted] to destroy the worshipers of Baal.

And Jehu said, Proclaim a solemn assembly for Baal & they [did.] And Jehu sent [throughout] Israel & all the worshipers of Baal came, so that there weren't [any] man left [who] didn't come.

And they [went] into the house of Baal & it was full from 1 end to [the other.] And [Jehu] said to him [who was in charge of the wardrobe for Baal worshipers,] bring [out] the vestments for all the worshipers of Baal. And he brought [the] vestments [out.]

And Jehu & Jehonadab, [Rechab’s] son, went into the house of Baal & said to the worshipers of Baal, [Look & make sure] that there [are] none of the servants of the Lord [in here,] but only the worshipers of Baal.

And when they went in to offer sacrifices & burnt offerings, Jehu appointed 80 men [outside] & said, If [you let anyone] escape, [that] I have brought into your hands, [whoever] lets him go, shall give his life, for the life of [the 1 who escapes.]

And it [happened,] as soon as the burnt offering [ended,] that Jehu said to the [guards] & the captains, Go in & [kill] them & let [none] come [out.] They [struck them down] with the edge of the sword & [threw the bodies [outside.]

And [they] went to the city of the house of Baal & brought out all the images out of the house of Baal & burned them. And they [broke] down the image of Baal & [tore] down the house of Baal & made it [into a latrine to] this day.

[So by this,] Jehu destroyed Baal out of Israel. [However,] Jehu didn't depart from the sins of Jeroboam, [Nebat's] son, [who] made Israel sin, [that is:] the golden calves that were in BethEl & in Dan.

And the Lord said to Jehu, Because you have done well in executing [what] was right in [My] eyes & [you have] done to the house of Ahab, according to all that was in [My] heart, your children shall sit on the throne of Israel, [until] the 4th generation.

But Jehu [wasn't careful] to [follow] in the law of the Lord God of Israel with all his heart. For [Jehu didn't] depart from the sins of Jeroboam, [who] made Israel sin. [1 Kings 14:9-10 But [you] have done evil above all, [who] were before you. for you have gone & made [yourself] other gods & [molded] images, to provoke Me to anger & have [thrown] Me behind your back.

Therefore, [watch,] I will bring evil upon the house of Jeroboam & will cut off from Jeroboam [all males] & [males, who are] shut up & left in Israel & will take away the [rest] of the house of Jeroboam, [like] a man takes away [feces, until it’s] all gone.]

[During] those days, the Lord began to [reduce the size of Israel's territory.] Hazael [struck down the Israelites] in all the coasts of Israel; [east] of [the] Jordan [River, in] all the land of Gilead, the Gadites, Reubenites & the Manassites, from Aroer, by the River Arnon, even [to] Gilead & Bashan.

Now, [aren't] the rest of [Jehu's actions] & all he did & all his [strength] written in the Book of Chronicles of the Kings of Israel? Jehu [died] & slept with his [forefathers] & they buried him in Samaria. And Jehoahaz, his son, [ruled] in his [place.] And Jehu [ruled] over Israel in Samaria [for] 28 years.
