About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

2 Kings 15:1-38 Azariah Ruled 52 Years in Judah

Azariah Ruled 52 Years in Judah

2 Kings 15:1-38                              2 Kings [in Smaller Chunks]

In the 27th year [Jeroboam ruled, as Israel's] king, Azariah, [Amaziah's] son, began to [rule as Judah's] king, at 16 years old. He [ruled for] 52 years in Jerusalem. His mother's name was Jecholiah of Jerusalem.

[Azariah] did [what] was right in the sight of the Lord, according to all his father, Amaziah, had done, [except] the high places [where] people still sacrificed & burnt incense still on the high places. The Lord [struck] the king, so that he was a leper & [stayed] in a [separate] house] & [until] the day of his death.

And the king's son, Jotham, was over the house, judging the people of the land. [Aren't] the rest of the [actions] of Azariah & all he did, written in the Book of Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?

So, Azariah [died] & slept with his [forefathers] & they buried him with his [forefathers] in the city of David. Jotham, his son, [ruled] in his [place.]

[Prior to Azariah's death,] in the 38th year [Azariah ruled as Judah's] king, Zachariah [a.k.a. Zechariah, Jeroboam's] son, [ruled] over Israel in Samaria [for] 6 months.

[Zachariah] did [what] was evil in the sight of the Lord, [like[ his [forefather's] had done. He didn't depart from the sins of Jeroboam, [Nebat's] son, who made Israel sin.

[1 Kings 12:28-30 [Upon which,] king [Jeroboam] took counsel & made 2 calves of gold & said to [the Israelites,] It’s too much for you to go up to Jerusalem [to sacrifice.]

[See,] your gods, O Israel, [that] brought you up out of the land of Egypt. And [Jeroboam put] one in BethEl & he put the other in Dan. And this thing became a sin: for the people went to worship before the one, even to Dan.]

And Shallum, [Jabesh's] son, conspired against him & [struck] him [in front of] the people & [killed] him & [ruled] in his [place.] [Aren't] the rest of the [actions] of Zachariah written in the Book of Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?

This was the Word of the Lord, [that He spoke] to Jehu, saying, Your sons shall sit on the throne of Israel to the 4th generation. And so, it [happened.] Shalllu, [Jabesh's] son, began to [rule] in the 39th year of Uzziah [a.k.a. Azariah,] king of Judah. He [ruled] a full month in Samaria.

[Since,] Menahem, [Gadi's] son, went from Tirzah up to Samaria & [killed] Shallum, [Jabesh’s] son, in Samaria & [ruled] in his [place.] [Aren't] the rest of the [actions] of Shallum & his conspiracy [that] he made, written in the Book of Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?

Then, Menahem [attacked] Tipshah & all [who were in them] & [those] from the coasts of Tirzah: because they [didn't] open [their gates] to him. Therefore, he [attacked] it & ripped up all the [pregnant] women [in it.]

In the 39th year [that Azariah ruled,] as [Judah's] king, Menahem, [Gadi's] son, began to [rule] over Israel & [ruled] 10 years in Samaria. And he did [what] was evil in the sight of the Lord. And he [didn't] depart all his days from the sins of Jeroboam, [Nebat's] son, [who] made Israel sin.

Pul [a.k.a. Tiglath-pileser III, Assyria's] king, [invaded] the land & Menahem gave [Pul] 1,000 talents of silver, so [Pul would align with him] & confirm [Menahem's control of] the kingdom.

[To get the money,] Menahem [taxed] every man of Israel 50 shekels of silver, [including] all the wealthy men, to give to [Assyria's] king. So, [Assyria's] king turned back & [didn't stay] in the land.

[Aren't] the rest of the [actions] of Menahem & all he did, written in the Book of Chronicles of the Kings of Israel? Menhahem [died] & slept with his [forefathers.] And Pekahiah, his son, [ruled] in his [place.]

In the 50th year [that Azariah ruled, as Judah's] king, Pekahiah, [Menahem's] son, began to [rule] over Israel in Samaria & [he ruled] 2 years. [Pekahiah] did [what] was evil in the sight of the Lord.

He [didn't] depart from the sins of Jeroboam, [Nebat's] son, who made Israel sin. But Pekah, [Remaliah's] son, a captain of his, conspired with 50 [Gileadite] men with him & [struck Pekahiah] in the palace of king's house in Samaria [& also killed] Argob & Arieh.

And [Pekah] in his [place.] And the rest of the [actions] of Pekahiah & all he did, are written in the Book of Chronicles of the Kings of Israel. In the 52nd year [that Azariah ruled, as Judah's] king, Pekah, [Remaliah's] son, began to [rule] over Israel in Samaria & [ruled] 20 years.

[Pekah] did [what] was evil in the sight of the Lord. And he [didn't] depart from the sins of Jeroboam, [Nebat's] son, who made Israel sin.

[During] the days of Pekah, [Israel's] king, Tiglath-pileser III, [a.k.a. Pul, Assyria's] king, came & [captured] Ijon & Abel Beth Maachah, Janoah, Kedesh, Hazor, Gilead, Galilee & all the land of Naphtali & carried them captive to Assyria.

And Hosea, [Elath’s] son, of Remealiah, [struck] him & [killed] him & [ruled] in his [place] in the 20th year of Jotham, [Uzziah’s] son [ruled.]

And the rest of [Pekah's actions] & all he did, are written in the Book of Chronicles of the Kings of Israel. In the 2nd year of Pekah, [Remaliah's] son, [ruled as Israel's] king, Jotham, [Uzziah's] son, began to [rule as Judah’s] king.

[Jotham was] 25 years old when he began to [rule] & he [ruled] 16 years in Jerusalem. His mother's name was Jerusha, [a.k.a. Jerushah, Zadok's] daughter. And [Jotham,] did [what] was right in the sight of the Lord & he did according to all his father, Uzziah, had done.

[But] the high places weren't removed. The people still sacrificed & burnt incense in the high places. [Jotham] built the [upper] gate of the [Lord's] house. [Deuteronomy 12:2-3 And you shall [totally] destroy all the places, [in which] the nations [that] you shall possess served their gods, upon the high mountains, hills & under every green tree.

And you shall overthrow their altars & break their pillars &burn their groves with fire. And you shall [cut] down the [carved] images of their gods & destroy the names of them out of that place.]

Now, [aren't] the rest of the [actions] of Jotham & all he did, written in the Book of Chronicles of the Kings of Judah? In those days, the Lord began to send Rezin, [Syria's] king & Pekah, [Remaliah's] son, against Judah.

And Jotham [died] & slept with his [forefathers] & was buried in the city of David, his [forefather.] & Ahaz, his son, [ruled] in his [place.]
