About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible::

About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Hazael Asks Elisha if BenHadad, Syria's King will Recover

2 Kings 8:1-29                              2 Kings [in Smaller Chunks]

Then, Elisha spoke to the woman whose son he had restored to life, saying, Arise, you & your household & [stay wherever] you can, for the Lord has called for a famine that shall be on the land for 7 years.

She did [so] & she & her household [stayed] in the land of the Philistines 7 years, according to [what] the man of God [said]. [After] the 7 years, that woman [left] the land of the Philistines & went to [appeal] to the king for her house & land.

The king talked with Gehazi, [Eijah,] the man of God's servant, saying, I pray that you tell me the great things that Elisha has done.

It [happened while Gehazi] was telling the king how [Elisha] had restored a dead body to life, that [immediately,] the woman whose son had been restored, came to [appeal to] the king for her house & land.

Gehazi said, My lord, O king, this is the woman & her son whom Elisha restored to life. When the king asked the woman, she told him. The king appointed an officer to her & [said,] Restore all that was hers & all the fruits of the field [from when] she left until now.

Elisha came to Damascus & BenHadad, [Syria's] king, was sick & [the king] was told, The man of God has come [here]. The king said to Hazael, Take a present in your hand & go meet [with Elisha,] the man of God [to] inquire of the Lord by him, saying, Shall I recover [from] this disease?

So, Hazael went to meet [Elisha] & took a present of 40 camels [loaded with all] the good things of Damascus & came & stood [in front of Elisha] & said, Your son, BenHadad, [Syria's] king, has sent me to you, saying, Shall I recover from this disease?

Elisha said to him, Go & say to [the king,] You will [certainly] recover, [however] the Lord has [shown] me that he shall certainly die. [Elisha stared at Hazael,] until he was ashamed & the man of God wept.

Hazael [asked, Why do] you weep, my lord? [Eisha] answered, because I know the evil you will do to the children [people] of Israel. You will set their [fortified places] on fire & you will [strike down] their young men with the sword & will dash their children & rip [open pregnant] women.

Hazael said, [Am I, your servant, a dog, that he should do this [terrible] thing? Elisha answered, The Lord has shown me that you will be king over Syria. So, [Hazael left] from Elisha & came to his master, who [asked] him, What [did] Elisha [say] to you?

[Hazael] answered, [Elisha] told me you should surely recover. It [happened the next day, Hazael] took a thick cloth & dipped it in water & spread it [over the king's] face & he died. Hazael [ruled] in his [place].

[This happened] in the 5th year of Joram, a.k.a. Jehoram, Ahab's son, Israel's] king & Jehoshaphat was then [Judah's] king & Jehoram, [Jehoshaphat's] son, began to [rule over Judah]. Jehoram, [a.k.a. Joram, Jehoshaphat's son,] was 32 years old when he began to [rule] & he [ruled] 8 years in Jerusalem.

[Jehoram] walked in the ways of [Israel's] kings, as did the house of Ahab [who worshiped false gods & had pagan rituals]. For [Ahab's] daughter was [Jehoram's] wife & [Jehoram] did evil in the sight of the Lord.

* [Still] the Lord wouldn't destroy Judah for His servant, [David's] sake, [Since God] promised to always give [David] & his children a light. [Revelation 22:16 I, Jesus, have sent My Angel to testify to you [about] these things in the churches. I am the root & the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

[During the days of Jehoram, ] Edom revolted from under the hand of Judah & made a king over themselves. Jehoram,  [a.k.a. Joram, Jehoshaphat's son,] & all the chariots with him went over to Zair.

[Jehoram] rose [up at] night & [attacked] the Edomites, [that surrounded] him. The captains of the chariots & the people fled to their tents.  Edom [still revolts] from the hand of Judah [until] this day. Then, Libnah revolted at the same time.

[Aren't] the rest of [actions of Jehoram, Jehoshaphat's son] & all he did, written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah? [Jehoram, a.k.a. Joram, Jehoshaphat's son, died &] slept with his [forefathers] in the city of David & Ahaziah, his son [ruled] in his [place].

In the 12th year [Joram, Ahab's son, Israel's] king [ruled,] Ahaziah, the son of [Jehoram, Judah's] king, began to [rule in Judah]. Ahaziah was 22 years old when he began to [rule,] & he [ruled] 1 year in Jerusalem. His mother's name was Athaliah, the daughter of Omri, [Israel's] king.

[Ahaizah] walked in the [ways] of the house of Ahab & did evil in the sight of the Lord, as did the house of Ahab. For [Ahaziah] was the son-in-law of the house of Ahab.

[Ahaziah, Judah's king,] went with Joram, [Israel's king, his uncle,] to war against Hazael, [Syria's] king in Ramoth Gilead & the Syrians wounded Joram, [Israel's king].

And king Joram, [Israel's king,] went back to be healed in Jezreel, of the wounds [the Syrians] had given him at Ramah, when [Joram] fought against Hazael, [Syria's] king. And Ahaziah, son of [Jehoram, Judah's king,] went down to see Joram, [Ahab's son, Israel's king,] because he [had been wounded].
