About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: Since the Lord had it on my heart to write this blog, I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

2 Kings 12:1-21 The Money Collected to Repair the Lord's House

The Money Collected to Repair the Lord's House

2 Kings 12:1-21                              2 Kings [in Smaller Chunks]

In the 7th year [Jehu] [ruled,] Joash [a.k.a. Jehoash,] began to [rule] & he [ruled] 40 years in Jerusalem. His mother's name was Zibiah, [from] BeerSheba. [Joash] did [what] was right in the sight of the Lord all his days [n which] Jehoiada, the priest, instructed him.

But the high places [where] the people still sacrificed, & burnt incense in the high places, were not taken away.

And [Joash] said to the priests, [Let the priests take] all the money that is brought into the [Lord's] house [for] dedicated things, even the money of everyone [who:] [owes for vows, or is assessed to pay, or free-will offerings,] that come into any man's heart to bring into the [Lord's] house.

Let the priests, & every man take it to [those acquaintances [they know,] & let them repair the [damages] of the [Lord's] house, [wherever] any [damage is] found. But it [happened,] in the 23rd year king [Joash] [ruled,] the priests hadn't repaired the [damage] of the [Lord's] house.

Then, king [Joash,] called for Jehoiada, the priest, & the other priests, & said to them, Why [haven't] you [repaired] the [damage] of the [Lord's] house? Therefore now, [don't] receive [anymore] money [for] your [acquaintances,] but deliver it for the [damages] of the [Lord's] house.

And the priests [agreed not] to receive [anymore] money [from] the people, [& not] to repair the [damages] of the [Lord's] house. But [instead,] Jehoiada, the priest, took a chest, & [drilled] a hole in the lid of it, & set it beside the altar on the right side, as [someone comes] into the house of the Lord.

And the priests [who] kept the door, put [in it] all the money that was brought into the [Lord's] house. And it [happened,] when they saw there was much money in the chest, the king's scribe, & the high priest came up, & put [it into] bags, & [counted] the money that was found [in the chest] in the [Lord's] house.

And they [weighed it out,] & gave the [amount of] money [needed,] into the hands of [those who] did the work, & that had oversight of [the repairs of] the [Lord's] house.

And they [paid] it out to the: carpenters & builders, masons & stone cutters, [who worked] upon the [Lord's] house, to buy [lumber,] & [cut] stone to repair the [damages,] of the [Lord's] house, & for all that was [paid] out, to repair the [Lord's] house.

[But] there weren't any: silver bowls, [candle] snuffers, [basins,] trumpets, & gold vessels, & silver vessels, made [from] the money that was brought into the Lord's] house. But they gave that [money] to the workmen, & [with it,] [they] repaired the [Lord's] house.

[Additionally, they [didn't] [need] the men [to account for the money given to them,] for [those] whose hand they delivered the money [into,] to be [given to the] workmen, dealt faithfully. [The money [for:] the trespass, & sin [offerings] wasn't brought into the [Lord's] house. It was the priests’.

Then, Hazael, [Syria's] king, went up, & fought against Gath, & [captured] it. And Hazael set his [mind on] [going] up to Jerusalem.

And [Joash, Judah's] king, took all the [holy] things that Jehoshaphat, Jehoram, Ahaziah & his [forefathers,] & kings of Judah had dedicated, & his own [holy] things, & all the gold that was found in the [treasury] of the [Lord's] house, & the king's house, & sent it Hazael, [Syria's] king. And [Hazael] went away from Jerusalem.

Aren't the rest of the [actions] of Joash, & all that he did, written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah? And [Joash's] servants arose, & [conspired, & killed] Joash in the house of Millo, [that goes] down to Silla.

For: Jozachar, [Shimeath's] son; Jehozabad, [Shomer's] son, & his servants [struck down Joash,] & he died. And they buried [Joash] with his [forefathers] in the city of David, & Amaziah, his son [ruled] in his [place.]
