About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

2 Kings 24:1-20 Nebuchadnezzar Takes Judah Captive to Babylon

Nebuchadnezzar Takes Judah Captive to Babylon

2 Kings 24:1-20                              2 Kings [in Smaller Chunks]

[During the days of Jehoiakim's rule,] Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, came up [& invaded the land.] & invaded the land. And Jehoiakim [a.k.a. Eliakim] became [Nebuchadnezzar's] servant for 3 years. Then, [Jehoiakim,] turned & rebelled against [Nebuchadnezzar a.k.a. Nebuchadrezzar.]

And the Lord sent bands [of rebels from] the Chaldees [a.k.a. Babylon,] Syrians, Moabites & the children [people] of Ammon & sent them against [Jehoiakim, in] Judah to destroy it, according to the Word of the Lord, [that] He spoke by HIs servants, the prophets.

This surely came upon Judah, at the [command] of the Lord, to remove them out of His sight, for the sins of [king] Manasseh, according to all that he did.     [2 Kings 21:3-7 For [Manasseh] again built up the high places [that] Hezekiah, his father, had destroyed.

And he [put] up altars for Baal & made a grove, [like] king Ahab of Israel, did & worshiped all the [stars & constellations] of heaven & served them. And he built altars in the [Lord’s] house, in which the Lord said, In Jerusalem, I will put My Name.

And he built altars for all the [stars & constellations] of heaven in the 2 [courtyards] of the [Lord’s] house. And he made his son pass through the fire & observed times, used enchantments & dealt with [mediums] & wizards. He [did] much wickedness in the sight of the Lord, to provoke Him to anger.

And he [put a carved] image in the [Lord’s] house, of which the Lord said to David & to Solomon, his son, In this house & in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I will put My Name forever.]

Also, for the blood [of the] innocent that Manasseh shed. For [Manasseh] filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, which the Lord [God] wouldn't pardon. [2 Kings 21:16 [Additionally,] Manasseh shed very much innocent blood, [until] he had filled Jerusalem from 1 end to another. [In addition to] his sin [in which] he made Judah sin, in doing [what] was evil in the sight of the Lord.]

Now, [aren’t] the rest of the [actions] of Jehoiakim & all that he did, written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah? So, Jehoiakim [died] & slept with his [forefathers.] And Jehoiachin, his son, [ruled] in his [place.]

And [Egypt's] king [didn't] come out of his land [anymore: since Babylon's] king had taken all [the territory,] from the River of Egypt to the Euphrates River, that pertained to the king of Egypt.

Jehoiachin was 18 years old when he began to [rule] & he [ruled] in Jerusalem 3 months. And his mother's name was Nehushta, [Elnathan's] daughter, [from] Jerusalem.

And [Jehoiachin] did [what] was evil in the sight of the Lord [God,] according to all his father had done. At that time, the servants of Nebuchadnezzar, [Babylon's] king, came up against Jerusalem & [surrounded] the city.

At that time, the servants of Nebuchadnezzar, [Babylon's] king, came up against Jerusalem & the city was [surrounded with troops.] [So, Nebuchadnezzar’s] servants [attacked] it.

And Jehoiachin, [Judah's] king, went out [with] his mother, [wives,] servants, princes & officers, to [Babylon's] king & in the 8th year [Nebuchadnezzar ruled, he captured them.]

And he carried out [from there] all the treasures of the [Lord's] house & cut [into] pieces all the gold vessels [that] Solomon, king of Israel, had made [for] the temple of the Lord, [like] the Lord had said.

And [Nebuchadnezzar] carried away [captive] all [of] Jerusalem, all the: princes, the 7,000 mighty men of valor, even 10,000 captives & all were strong & [able to go to] war & all the 1,000 craftsmen,1,000 [black] smiths [went] into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon & none remained, [except for] the poorest  sort of people of the land.

And he carried away Jehoiachin from Jerusalem to Babylon [along with:] the king's mother, wives, officers & the mighty of the land [went] into captivity. And [Babylon's] king made Mattaniah, his father's brother, king [in his place] & changed his name to Zedekiah.

Zedekiah was 21 years old when he began to [rule] & he [ruled] 11 years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Hamutal, [Jeremiah's] daughter, [from] Libnah. And [Zedekiah] did [what] was evil in the sight of the Lord, according to all that Jehoiakim had done.

[Because of] the anger of the Lord, it [happened] in Jerusalem & Judah & [Zedekiah's rebelling] against [Babylon's] king, [until the Lord God had thrust] them out from His presence.
