About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Pekah Came to Jerusalem and Attacked Them

2 Kings 16:1-20                              2 Kings [in Smaller Chunks]

In the 17th year of Pekah, [Remaliah's] son [ruled,] Ahaz, [Jotham's] son, [Judah's] king, began to [rule]. Ahaz was 20 years old when he began to [rule] & [he ruled] 16 years in Jerusalem. [Ahaz didn't] do [what] was right in the sight of the Lord his God, like David, his [forefather].

But [Ahaz] walked in the way of the kings of Israel & made his son pass through the fire [like] the abominations of the heathen [nations that worship false gods,] whom the Lord cast out from [Canaan] before the children of Israel.

[Ahaz] sacrificed & burnt incense in the high places on hills & under every green tree [to false gods]. Then, Rezin, [Syria's] king, came to Jerusalem [& attacked them]. They surrounded Ahaz, but couldn't [over power] him.

At that time, Rezin, [Syria's] king, recovered Elath [for] Syria, [by driving out the people of Judah]. [Then,] the Syrians came to Elath & [live] there to this day. Ahaz sent messengers to Tiglath-pileser III [a.k.a. Pul, Assyria's] king, saying, I am your servant & your son.

Come up & save me out of the [hands] of [Syria's & Israel's] kings, [who] rise up against me. Ahaz took the silver & gold that was found in the [Lord's] house & the treasures [from] the king's house & sent it as a present to [Assyria's] king.

[Assyria's] king [listened] to him & went up against Damascus & [captured] it & carried [its] people captive to Kir & [killed] Rezin. King Ahaz went to Damascus to meet [Pul, Assyria's] king & saw an altar that was [in] Damascus.

King Ahaz sent to Urijah, the priest, the [design] of the altar & workmanship [of it]. Urijah, the priest, made it [before] king Ahaz [returned] from Damascus. When the king [came there,] he saw the altar & approached the altar & offered [on it].

He burnt his burnt offerings, [meat/grain] offering & poured his drink offering & sprinkled the blood of his peace offerings, upon the altar.

He also brought the [brass] altar, [that] was before the Lord from the front of the [Lord's] house, from between the [new] altar & the [Lord's] house & put it on the north side of the [new] altar.

And king Ahaz commanded Uriah, the priest, saying, Upon the [large] altar, burn the morning burnt offering, evening [meat/grain] offering & the king's burnt sacrifice & his [meat/grain] offering,

with the burnt offering of all the people of the land, their [meat/grain] offering & their drink offerings & sprinkle upon it the blood of the burnt offering & all the blood of the sacrifice, [but I will use] the brass altar [to seek guidance].

Urijah, the priest, did all king King Ahaz commanded. King Ahaz cut off the borders of the[ basins] & removed them & took down the sea from off the [brass] oxen that were under it & put it on [a stone base].

[Also] the [canopy] for the Sabbath, that they built in the [Lord's] house was removed & the king's entrance [outside] the [Lord's] house, for the king of Assyria.

[Aren't] the rest of the [actions] of Ahaz & all he did, written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah? Ahaz [died] & slept with his [forefathers] & was buried in the city of David. Hezekiah, his son, [ruled] in his [place].
