About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: Since the Lord had it on my heart to write this blog, I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

2 Kings 11:1-21 Joash is Hidden in the Lord's House and Then Made King

Joash is Hidden in the Lord's House and Then Made King

2 Kings 11:1-21                              2 Kings [in Smaller Chunks]

When Athaliah, [Ahaziah's] mother, saw that her son, [Ahaziah,] was dead, she arose & [killed] all the royal seed, [a.k.a. heirs.] But Jehosheba, the daughter of king Joram, & sister of Ahaziah, took Joash, [a.k.a. Jehoash,] the son of Ahaziah, & [snuck] him [away] from among the king's sons, [who] were [killed.]

And [Jehosheba] hid [Joash,] & his nurse, in the [bedroom] from [queen] Athaliah, so he wasn't [killed.] And [Joash] was [hidden] with her in the house of the Lord [for] 6 years. And [Queen] Athaliah [ruled] over the land.

And the 7th year, Jehoiada sent & [had] the rulers over 100's, with: the captains, & the [guards,] brought to him, into the house of the Lord. And [Jehoiada] made a covenant, [a.k.a. contract,] with them, & took an oath [from] them in the [Lord's] house, & [showed] them [Joash,] the king's son.

And [Jehoiada, the priest,] commanded them, saying, This is the thing that you shall do. [Those of you who are on duty in the Lord's house] on the Sabbath [Day,] 1/3 of you shall [keep] the watch, [& guard] the kings' house.

And 1/3 [of you] shall be at the gate of Sur; & 1/3 [of you] at the gate behind the guard: so you shall watch [over] the [Lord's] house, [so it's] not broken down. Two parts of all [of] you [who are going off duty] on the Sabbath, they shall even keep the watch of the [Lord's] house [around] the king.

You shall [circle around] king [Joash,] every man with his weapons in his hand, & he, [who comes] [too close to him, shall] be [killed.] And you [go] with the king as he [goes] out, & as he [comes] in.

And the captains over the 100's did according to all things that Jehoiada, the priest, commanded. And every [captain] took his men [who] were to come [on duty] on the Sabbath, & [the other captains, who took their men] with them, [who were going off duty] on the Sabbath, & came to Jehoiada, the priest.

The priest [gave] king David's spears & shields, that were in the [Lord's] temple to the captains over 100's. And every guard stood with his weapons in his hand, [all around] king [Joash] by the altar, & [formed a line] from the right corner of the temple to the left corner, & [around] the altar & [the sides of] the temple.

And [Jehoiada] brought [out] [Joash,] the king's son, & put the crown upon him, & gave him the Testimony, [a.k.a. The 10 Commandments, & Laws,] & they made him king, & anointed him, & they clapped their hands, & said, God save the king.

And when, [Queen] Athaliah heard the noise [by:] the guards, & the people, she [went] into the [Lord's] temple, & came to the people. And when she looked, [she] [saw that] the king stood by a pillar, [a.k.a. column, like] the [custom] was, & the princes & trumpeters [were] by the king.

And all the people of the land rejoiced, & blew with trumpets. And [Queen] Athiliah [tore] her clothes, & cried [out,] Treason, Treason.

But Joiada, the priest, [had] commanded the captains of the 100s, & the officers of the [army, & told] them, Have her [taken] [outside] the [range] [of king Joash,] & kill with a sword, [whoever follows] her. [Since,] the priest had said, [Don't] let her be [killed] in the [Lord's] house.

And they [seized Athaliah;] & she went [where] the horses [entered] into the [path of] the king's house; & she was [killed] there. And Jehoiada made a covenant, [a.k.a. contract,] between the Lord, the king, & the people, & also between the king & the people, [so] that they should [all] be the Lord's people.

And all the people of the land went into the house of Baal, & [broke] it down. And [they] [broke] down [its:] altars & images thoroughly [into small] pieces, & [killed] Mattan, [Baal's] priest, [in front of] the altars.

And [Jehoiada,] the [Lord God's] priest, appointed officers over the [Lord's] house. And he took the rulers over 100's, the captains, the [guards,] & all the people of the land; & they brought down king [Joash] from the [Lord's] house, & came by the [road] of the gate [entrance] of the guard's [path] to the king's house.

And [Joash] sat on the [king's] throne. And the city [was peaceful] & Athaliah was [struck down by] the sword beside the king's house. [Joash, a.k.a. Jehoash] was 7 years old when he began to [rule.]
