About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Exodus 20:1-26 The Lord Told Moses the 10 Commandments to Share with the Israelites

The Lord Told Moses the 10 Commandments to Share with the Israelites

Exodus 20:1-26            The Second Book of Moses Called Exodus

God [spoke] all these words [The 10 Commandments] saying: I am the Lord your God [Who] brought you out of the land of Egypt & out of the house of bondage. [1] You shall not have [any] other gods before Me.

[2] You shall not make for yourself a [carved] image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

You shall not bow yourself down to them nor serve them: for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the 3rd & 4th generations of [those who] hate Me, but showing mercy to 1,000’s of [those who] love Me & keep My commandments.

[3] You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold guiltless [anyone] who takes His name in vain. [4] Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. 6 days you shall labor & do all your work, but the 7th day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God.

In it you shall [not] do [any] work: you, your son or daughter, your [male or female servant,] your cattle, nor your stranger [who] is within your gates. For in 6 days the Lord made heaven & earth & sea & all that is in them & rested the 7th day. [Therefore] the Lord blessed the Sabbath day & hallowed it.

[5] Honor your father & mother that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God gives you. [6] You shall not kill. [7] You shall not commit adultery. [8] You shall not steal. [9] You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. [Proverbs 14:5 A faithful witness won’t lie, but a false witness will [say] lies.]

[10] You shall not covet [envy] your neighbor’s house, his wife, his [male or female servant,] his ox, nor his [donkey,] nor anything that is your neighbor’s. And all the people trembled & stood far [away as] they saw the thunderings, [lightning flashes] & the mountain smoking & the noise of the trumpet.

And they said to Moses, You speak with us & we will hear [from you what God wants to tell us,] but [don’t] let God speak with us, lest we die. Moses [told] the people, [Don’t be fearful,] for God [has] come to [test] you & that the fear [respect of Him] may be before your faces, [so] that you don’t sin.

The people stood far [away, but] Moses drew near into the thick darkness where God was. The Lord said to Moses, You shall say [this] to the children [people] of Israel, You have seen that I [the Lord God] have talked with you from heaven.

You shall not make any gods of silver, neither shall you make [yourselves] gods of gold to be [worshiped] with Me. You shall make [for] Me an [altar] of earth & you shall sacrifice on it your burnt offerings & peace offerings, your sheep & oxen:

..in all the places where I record My name, I will come to you & I will bless you. If you make Me an altar of stone, it shall not be of [cut] stone, for if you [use] your [tools] on it, you [will] have [defiled] it. Neither shall there be steps for you to go up to [My] altar, so your nakedness is not [exposed there.] [Exodus 28:42 And you shall make them linen [trousers] to cover their nakedness: from the loins & shall reach even to the thighs.]
