About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

John 1:1-51 In the Beginning Was the Word & the Word Was God

In the Beginning Was the Word & the Word Was God

John 1:1-51          The Gospel According to John [in Smaller Chunks]

In the beginning was the Word, & the Word was with God, & the Word was God. [John 20:27-29 *Then [Jesus] said to Thomas, Reach your finger [here,] & [see] My hands. And reach your hand [here,] & thrust it into My side. And [don't] be faithless, but believing. And Thomas answered & said to [Jesus,] My Lord & my God. Jesus [said] to him, Thomas, because you [have] seen Me, you [have] believed. Blessed are [those, who] haven't seen, & [still] have believed.

The same was in the beginning with God. [Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness. And let them have dominion over the: fish of the sea; [birds] of the air; cattle, [a.k.a. livestock,] & over all the earth, & over every creeping thing that [creeps] upon the earth.]

All things were made by Him. And not anything that was made, was made without Him. [Psalm 33:6-8 By the Word of God, the heavens were made. And all the hosts of [heaven] [were made] by the breath of His mouth. He [gathers] the waters of the sea together, [like] a heap. He lays up the [deep] [waters] in storehouses. Let all the earth fear, [a.k.a. respect] the Lord, & let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.]

In Him was life; & the life was the Light of men. [1 John 1:7 But if you walk, [a.k.a. follow] in the Light, [like] He is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another. And the blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, [cleanses] us from all sin.]

And the Light [shines] in the darkness; & the darkness [didn't comprehend, a.k.a. understand,] it. [John 8:12 Then, Jesus [spoke] to them again, I Am the Light of the world. He, [who follows] Me shall not walk, [a.k.a follow,] in darkness, but shall have the Light of Life.]

*There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. *The same, came for a witness, to bear witness, [a.k.a. to testify,] of the Light, [so] that all men might believe through him. [Malachi 3:1 *[Look,] I send My messenger, & he shall prepare the way before Me. And the Lord, Whom you seek, shall suddenly come to His temple, even the Messenger of the Covenant, [a.k.a. contract,] Whom you delight in. [Watch,] He shall come, says the Lord of Hosts.]

*He, [a.k.a. John,] wasn't that Light, but was sent to [testify] of that Light. [Isaiah 9:2 *The people [who] walked, [a.k.a. followed,] in darkness have seen a great Light. [Those, who] dwell in the land of the shadow of death, [have] the Light shined upon them.]

*That was the True Light, [Who enlightens] every man, [who] comes into the world. [Isaiah 49:5-6 *And now, the Lord [says, Who] formed Me in the womb to be His servant, to bring Jacob to Him again. [Although] Israel [isn't] gathered, [still] I shall be glorious in the eyes of the Lord. And My God shall be My strength. *And He said, It is a light, [a.k.a. small,] thing, that You shall be My servant, to raise up the tribes of Jacob, & to restore the preserved, [a.k.a. saved,] of Israel. I will also give You for a Light to the Gentiles, [so] that You [may] be My Salvation to the [ends] of the earth.]

He was in the world, & the world was made by Him. [Hebrews 1:2 In these last days, [God] has spoken to us [through] His Son, Whom He [has] appointed heir of all things, & by Whom, He also made the worlds.]

And the world [didn't know] Him. *He came unto His own, & His own [didn't] receive, [a.k.a. accept,] Him. [Isaiah 53:3 *He is despised & rejected [by] men. A Man of sorrows, & acquainted with grief. And we hid [like] it were our faces from Him. He was despised, & we [didn't hold] Him [in high regard.]

But as many as received, a.k.a. accepted,] Him, He gave power to them to become the sons of God, even to [those, who] believe [in] His Name: who were born, not of blood, nor [from] the will of flesh, nor [from] the will of man, but [through] God. [2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if any man [is] in Christ, he is a new creature. Old things [have] passed away, & [see,] all things [have become new.]

And the Word was made flesh, & dwelt among us. (And we [saw] His glory, the glory as the Only Begotten of the Father,) full of grace & truth. [Mark 9:7-8 *And there was a cloud that overshadowed them. And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is My beloved Son. Hear Him.]

*John bare witness of Him, & cried [out] saying, This was He of Whom I [spoke,] He, [Who comes] after me, is preferred before me. For He was before me. [Matthew 3:11 *I, [a.k.a. John the Baptist,] indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. But He, [Who] comes after me, is mightier than I, Whose shoes I am not worthy to [carry.] He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, [a.k.a. Holy Spirit,] & with fire.]

And we have all received [from] His fullness, [a.k.a. richness,] & grace [upon] grace. [Romans 3:23-24 For all have sinned, & come short of the glory of God; being freely justified by His grace, through the redemption that is [through] Christ Jesus.]

For the Law was given by Moses, but grace & truth came by Jesus Christ. [John 14:6 Jesus said to [Thomas,] I Am the Way, The Truth, & the Life. No man [comes] to the Father, [except] by Me.

*No man [has] seen God at any time, [but] the only begotten Son, [Who] is in the bosom, [a.k.a. arms,] of the Father, & He has declared Him. [Psalm 2:7 *I will declare the decree: The Lord [has] said to Me, You [are] My Son. This day I have begotten You.]

And when the Jews sent priests & Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who [are] you? This is the record of John. And [John] confessed, & [didn't] deny; but confessed, I am not the Christ. [John 5:36 But I have [a] greater, [a.k.a. more significant] witness than that of John. For the works, [a.k.a. Miracles,] which the Father [has] given Me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness, [a.k.a. testify,] of Me, that the Father [has] sent Me.

And they asked [John,] What then? [Are] you [Elijah?] And [John] said, I am not. [Are] you that prophet? And [John] answered, No. Then, they said to [John,] Who [are] you? [So,] that we may give an answer to [those, who] sent us.

What [do] you [say about] yourself? *[John] said, I am the voice of one crying [out] in the wilderness, Make straight the [road] of the Lord, [like] the prophet [Isaiah] said. [Isaiah 40:3 *The voice of him, [who cries] [out] in the wilderness, Prepare you the way of the Lord, & make a straight highway in the desert for our God.]

And [those, who] were sent, were [from] the Pharisees. And they asked [John,] & said to him, Then, why [do] you baptize, if you [aren't] that: Christ, [Elijah, nor] that prophet? John answered them, saying, I baptize with water. But there [stands] One among you, Whom you [don't] know. It is He, Who [comes] after me, & is preferred before me, Whose shoe [buckle,] I'm not worthy to [loosen.] [Colossians 1:17 And He [was] before all things, & all things consist, [a.k.a. exist] by Him.]

These things were done in Bethabara, beyond [the] Jordan [River,] where John was baptizing. *The next day, John [saw] Jesus coming to him, & [said, Look,] the Lamb of God, [Who takes] away the sin of the world. [Isaiah 53:5-6 *But He was wounded for out [sins.] He was bruised for our iniquities. The [discipline for] our peace was upon Him. And with His stripes, [a.k.a. whip marks,] we are healed. *All we like sheep have gone astray. We have, everyone, turned to his own [ways.] And the Lord [has] laid on Him the [sin] of us all.]

This is He, of Whom I said, After me [comes] a Man, [Who] is preferred before me: for He was before me. And I [didn't know] Him. But that He should be made manifest, [a.k.a. visible,] to Israel. Therefore, I [have] come baptizing with water.

And John [testified,] saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven, like a dove, & it [remained] upon Him. *I [didn't know] Him: but He, [Who] sent me to baptize with water, the Same said to me, Upon Whom you [shall] see the Spirit descending, & remaining on Him, the Same is He, [Who] baptizes with the Holy Ghost, [a.k.a. Holy Spirit.] [John 14:25-26 I have spoken these things to you, [still] being present with you. But the Comforter, [Who] is the Holy Ghost, [a.k.a. Holy Spirit,] Whom the Father will send in My Name, He shall teach you all things, & [remind] you [about] all things, [whatever] I have said to you.

And I saw, & [testified] that this Is the Son of God. [Afterwards,] again, the next day, John, & his 2 disciples stood, & looking upon Jesus as He walked, [John said, Look,] the Lamb of God! And the 2 disciples heard [John] speak, & they followed Jesus.

Then, Jesus turned, & saw them following, & [said] to them, What [do] you seek? They said to [Jesus,] Rabbi, (which is to say, & [is] being interpreted, Master, [a.k.a. Teacher,]) where [do] You [stay?] [Jesus] said to them, Come & see. They came & saw where [Jesus] dwelt, & [stayed] with Him that day: for it was about the 10th hour.

One of the two, [who] heard John speak, & followed [Jesus,] was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother. He 1st [went] & [found] his own brother, Simon. And [said] to [Simon Peter,] We have found the [Messiah,] which is, being interpreted, the Christ, [a.k.a. Anointed One.]

And [Andrew] brought [Simon Peter] to Jesus. And when Jesus [saw] him, He said, You [are] Simon, the son of [Jonah.] You shall be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone, [a.k.a. Peter.]

The following day, Jesus [wanted] to go [out] to Galilee, & [found] Philip, & said to him, Follow Me. Now, Philip was [from] Bethsaida, the city of Andrew & Peter. Philip [found] Nathanael, [a.k.a. Bartholomew.]

*And said to [Nathanel,] We have found Him, of Whom Moses & the prophets [wrote] [about] in the Law, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. [Deuteronomy 18:18-19 *I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, [similar] to you, & will put My Words in His mouth. And He shall speak to them all that I shall command Him. *And it shall [happen,] that [whoever] won't [pay attention] to My Words, [that] He shall speak in My Name, I will require it [from] him, [a.k.a. hold him accountable for disregarding My Words.]

And Nathanael said to [Philip,] Can any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip [said] to him, Come & see. Jesus saw Nathanael, coming to Him, & said [about] him, [Look,] indeed an Israelite, in whom is no [deceit!] Nathanael [said] to [Jesus, How] do You [know] me? Jesus answered & said to [Nathanael,] Before Philip called you, I saw you when you [were] under the fig tree.

*Nathanael answered & said to [Jesus,] Rabbi, [a.k.a. Teacher,] You [are] the Son of God. You [are] the King of Israel. [Jeremiah 23:5-6 *[Watch,] the Lord says, the days come that I will raise to David a righteous Branch, & a King shall [rule] & prosper, & shall [carry out] judgment & justice. *[During] His days, Judah shall be saved, & Israel shall dwell safely. And this is His Name [by which] He shall be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.]

Jesus answered & said to [Nathanael,] [Do] you [believe,] because I said I saw you under a fig tree? You shall see greater things than these. *And [Jesus] said to [Nathanael,] [Very, truly,] I say to you, [In the future,] you shall see heaven open, & the Angels of God ascending & descending upon the Son of Man.

[Acts 1:8-11 *But you shall receive power, after the Holy Ghost, [a.k.a. Holy Spirit, comes] upon you. And you shall be [My] witnesses both in: Jerusalem, Judaea, [a.k.a. Judea,] & in Samaria, & to the [furthest parts] of the earth. And when [Jesus] had spoken these things, while they [looked,] a cloud received [Jesus] & He was taken up, out of their sight. And while they [steadily] looked toward heaven, as [Jesus] went up, & [saw] 2 men stood by them in white [garments.] [Who] also said, You men of Galilee, why [do] you stand gazing up into heaven? *This same Jesus, [Who] is taken up from you into heaven, shall [also] come in [similar] manner, as you have seen Him go into heaven.]

Luke 24:1-53 Jesus' Resurrection from the Dead

Jesus' Resurrection from the Dead

Luke 24:1-53          The Gospel According to Luke [in Smaller Chunks]

Now, upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they & [some] others came with them to the [tomb,] bringing the spices [that] they had prepared. And they found the stone, [a.k.a. boulder,] rolled away from the [tomb.]

*And they entered in, & [didn't find] the body of the Lord Jesus. [Psalm 16:9-10 *Therefore, My heart is glad, & My glory [rejoices.] My flesh shall also rest in hope. For You won't leave My soul in hell; & neither will You [allow,] Your Holy One to see corruption, [a.k.a. decay.]

And it [happened,] as they were [very confused about it, & saw] 2 men stood by them in shining garments. And [since] they were afraid, bowed down their faces to the [ground.] The [2 men] said to them, Why [do] you seek the Living among the dead? He isn't here, but is risen.

Remember how [Jesus spoke] to you when He was [still] in Galilee saying, *The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, & be crucified, & rise again the third day. [Isaiah 53:12 *Therefore, I will divide Him a portion with the great, & He shall divide the spoil with the strong. Because He [has] poured out His soul unto death. And He was numbered with the transgressors, & made intercession for the transgressors. And He [bore] the sin of many.]

And they remembered His Words, & returned from the [tomb,] & told all these things to the 11, & to all the rest. It was: Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary, the mother of James, & other women [who] were with them, [who] told these things to the apostles. And their words seemed to them [like] idle tales, & they [didn't believe] them.

Then, Peter arose & ran to the [tomb.] And stooping down, [Peter saw] the linen clothes laid by themselves. And [left,] wondering [within] himself, at [what has happened.] And, [saw,] 2 of them went that same day to the village called Emmaus, which was about [60] furlongs from Jerusalem.

And they talked together [about] all these things [that] had happened. And it [happened,] that, while they [talked] together, & reasoned, Jesus, Himself, drew near, & went with them. [Mark 16:12 After that, [Jesus] appeared in another form, [a.k.a. image,] to 2 of them, as they walked, & went into the country.]

But their eyes were [withheld, so] that they shouldn't know, [a.k.a. recognize Jesus.] And He said to them, What [type] of [discussion] are these, that you have [with] one another, as you are sad & walk?]

And one of them, whose name was Cleopas, [answered] & said to [Jesus, Are] You only a stranger in Jerusalem, & haven't known the things [that have happened] there [during] these days?  And [Jesus] said to them, What things? And they said to him, [About] Jesus of Nazareth, [Who] was a mighty Prophet in Word & [deeds] before God, & all the people.

*And how the chief priests & our rulers delivered Him to be condemned to death, & have crucified Him. [Psalm 22:16 *For the assembly of the wicked have [enclosed] Me & dogs have [surrounded] Me.They have pierced My hands & My feet.]

*But we trusted that it had been He, [Who] should have redeemed Israel. And [besides] all this, today is the third day since these things were done. [Isaiah 42:6-7 *In Righteousness, I, the Lord, have called You, & will hold Your hand. And will keep You, & give You for a Covenant [contract for] the people, & for a Light [for] the Gentiles. *To open the blind eyes, & to bring out the prisoners from the prison, & to [bring] [those, who] sit in darkness out of the [houses] of the prison.]

Then, [Jesus] said to them, O fools, [with] hearts slow to believe all that the prophets have spoken. *[Shouldn't] Christ have [allowed] these things, & enter into His glory? [Isaiah 53:8-10 *He was taken from prison & from judgment, [a.k.a. justice.] And who shall declare His generation? For He was cut off, out of the land of the living. For He was [struck] for the [sins] of My people. *And He made His grave with the wicked, & with the rich in His death. Because He had done no violence, & neither was any deceit in His mouth.

[Still] it pleased the Lord to bruise Him. He [has] put Him to grief. When You shall make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, & He shall prolong His days. And the pleasure of the Lord shall [benefit] in His hand.]

And He [explained] to them, [about] all the prophets, beginning at Moses, & all the scriptures [with] the things [about] Himself. And they drew [close] to the village, [where] they [were going.] And [Jesus] made [it seem as if] He would have gone further. But they [tried to] [convince] Him, saying, [Stay] with us. For it's [almost] evening, & the day is [almost over.]

And [Jesus] went in, to [wait] with them. And it [happened,] as [Jesus] sat at [dinner] with them, He took [the] bread, & blessed, & [broke] it, & gave [it] to them. And their eyes were opened, & they knew [Jesus;] & He vanished out of their sight.

And they said to one another, Didn't our [hearts] burn within us, while He talked with us by the [road,] & while [Jesus] opened the Scriptures to us? And the same hour, they rose up & returned to Jerusalem, & found the 11 gathered together, & [those, who] were with them.

Saying, The Lord is indeed risen, & [has] appeared to Simon. And they told what things were done [on] the [road,] & how He was known [by] them, in [the] breaking of [the] bread. And as they [spoke this,] Jesus, Himself, stood in the [middle] of them, & said to them, Peace be to you.

But they were terrified & [frightened, & thought] that they had seen a spirit, [a.k.a. ghost.] And [Jesus] said to them, Why are you troubled? And, why do [these] thoughts arise in your hearts? [See] My hands & My feet, that it is I, Myself. [Touch] Me, & see. For a spirit [doesn't have] flesh & bones, as you see Me have.

*And when [Jesus] had spoken [this,] He [showed] them His hands & His feet. [Zechariah 13:6-7 *And [someone] shall say to Him, What are these wounds in Your hands? Then, He shall answer, [These] [are what] I was wounded with in the house of My friends. *Awake, O sword, against My Shepherd, & against the man, [who] is My [companion, says] the Lord of Hosts. [Strike] the Shepherd, & the sheep shall be scattered. And I will [return My] hand [for] the little ones.]

And while they [still didn't believe,] & for joy, wondered, [Jesus] said to them, [Do] you have any meat here? And they gave Him a piece of broiled fish, & [a] honeycomb. And [Jesus] took it, & [ate in front of] them.

And [Jesus] said to them, These are the Words, which I [spoke] to you, while I was [still] with you. *[So] that all things must be fulfilled, [that] are written in the [Scriptures:] in the Law of Moses, in the [books of] prophets, & in the Psalms, [about] Me.

[Isaiah 53:5-7 *But He was wounded for our [sins] & He was bruised for our iniquities. The [discipline for] our peace was upon Him. And we are healed with His stripes, [a.k.a. whip marks.] *All we, like sheep, have gone astray. We have everyone turned to his own [ways.] And the Lord has laid on Him the [sin] of us all. *He was oppressed, & He was afflicted. [Still] He [didn't] open His mouth. He is brought [like] a lamb to the slaughter. And [like] a sheep is [mute in front of its] shearers, He [didn't] open His mouth.]

Then, [Jesus] opened their understanding, [so] that they might understand the Scriptures. *And said to them, It is written [like this,] & it [was necessary] [for] Christ to suffer, & rise from the dead, the third day. [Isaiah 53:11 *He shall see the [troubles] of His soul, & shall be satisfied. [By] His knowledge My Righteous Servant shall justify many. For He shall bear their [sins.]

[So] that repentance & remission, [a.k.a. forgiveness] of sins, should be preached in His Name among all nations, beginning [in] Jerusalem. *And you are [eye] witnesses of these things.

[Acts 1:8 *But you shall receive power after the Holy Ghost, [a.k.a. Holy Spirit, comes] upon you. And you shall be [My] witnesses, both in Jerusalem, Judaea, [a.k.a. Judea,] & Samaria, & unto the [furthest parts] of the earth.]

And, [watch,] I send the promise of My Father upon you. *But you [wait] in the city of Jerusalem, until you [are endowed] with power from on High. [Acts 2:2-4 *And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, [like] a mighty, rushing wind. And it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared to them, [cloven] tongues, like as of fire. And it sat [above] each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, [a.k.a. Holy Spirit.] And [they] began to speak with other tongues, [a.k.a. languages, like] the Spirit gave them utterance.]

And [Jesus] led them out as far as Bethany. And [Jesus] lifted up His hands, & blessed them. *And it [happened,] while He blessed them, [Jesus] was parted from them, & [was] carried up into heaven. [Psalm 68:18 *You [have] ascended on high, & You have led [those] captive [from] captivity. You have received gifts for men; & [yes,] also for the rebellious, [so] that the Lord God might dwell among them.]

And they worshiped [Jesus,] & returned to Jerusalem with great joy. And [they] were continually in the temple, praising & blessing God. Amen.
