[Don’t] boast [to] yourself [about] tomorrow, for you [don’t know] what a day may bring. Let another man praise you, & not your own mouth; & [let] a stranger [praise you,] & not your own lips.

A stone, [a.k.a. rock,] is heavy, & the sand [is] weighty; but a fool’s [fury] is heavier than them both. [Fury] is cruel, & anger is outrageous: but who is able to stand before [the Lord God with] envy?

[1John 3:11-12 For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. Not [like] Cain, who was of that wicked one, & [killed] his brother. And [for what reason] [did] [Cain kill] him? Because his own works, [a.k.a. deeds,] were evil, & his brother's [were] righteous.]

Open [criticism] is better than secret love. [Proverbs 28:23 He [who rebukes] a man, shall find more [favor] afterwards than he, [who flatters] with the tongue, [a.k.a. mouth.]

Faithful are the wounds [endured from] a friend; but the kisses [from] an enemy are deceitful.  [Matthew 26:47-50 And while He [still spoke, saw,] Judas, 1 of the 12, came, & with him a great multitude, with swords & [staffs,] from the chief priests & elders of the people.

Now, he, [who] betrayed Him, gave them a sign, saying, [Whomever] I shall kiss, that same is He. Hold Him [securely.] And [immediately] he came to Jesus, & said, Hail, master; & kissed Him. And Jesus said to him, Friend, [for what reason have] you come? Then, they came, & laid hands on Jesus, & took Him.]

The [stomach that’s] full, [loathes a] honeycomb: but every bitter thing is sweet to the hungry. [Like] a bird that [wanders] from her nest, so is a man, [who wanders] from his place.

Ointment & perfume [delight] the heart: so [is heart-felt advice] by a man’s friend, [sweet.] [Don’t abandon] your own friend, & your father’s friend. Neither go into your brother’s house [on] the day of your calamity, [a.k.a. trouble:] for better is a [neighbor, who] is near, than a brother far [away.] [Proverbs 17:17 A friend [loves] at all times, & a brother is born for [times of] adversity.]

My son, be wise & make my heart glad, [so] that I may answer him, [who criticizes] me. A [cautious] man [foresees] the evil, & [hides] himself; but the simple [minded,] [continue] on, & are punished. [Proverbs 9:14-18 For she [sits] on a seat, at the door of her house, in the high places of the city, to call [those] who [pass] right [by there] on their ways. Let him, [whoever] is simple [minded, [a.k.a. naive,] turn in [to this place.] And as for him [who lacks] understanding, she [says] to him, Stolen waters are sweet, & bread eaten in secret is pleasant. But he [doesn't know:] that the dead are there, & that her guests are in the depths of hell.]

Take his [clothing] that is [collateral] for a stranger, & take a pledge [from] him for a strange, [a.k.a. foreign,] woman. [Proverbs 22:26-27 [Don't] you be one of [those, who shake] hands, or [those, who] are [collateral] for debts. If you [have] nothing [with which] to pay, why should he take away your bed from under you?]

He, [who rises] early in the morning, & [blesses] his friend with a loud voice, shall be [considered] a curse to him.

Continual [dripping on] a very rainy day, & [an argumentative] woman are alike. [Whoever restrains] her [is like trying to] [restrain] the wind, & the [medicine on]  his right hand, [betrays] itself. [Proverbs 21:19 It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with an [argumentative,] & angry woman.]

Iron [sharpens] iron: so [does] a friend [sharpen] the [mood] of his friend. [Whoever keeps] a fig tree, shall eat [its] fruit; so he, [who waits] on his master, shall be [honored.] [2 Timothy 2:6 The [farmer who labors,] must 1st be [a] [partaker] of the [harvested] fruits.]

[Like] [looking] in water [reflects the] face, so [does] the heart of man [reveals the] man. Hell & destruction are never full; so are the eyes of man never satisfied. [1 John 2:16-17 For the lusts, [a.k.a. desires,] of the flesh [are:] all that is in the world. And the [desires] of the eyes, & the pride of life, isn't [from] the Father, but is [from] the world. And the world [passes] away, & [its lusts of it.] But he [who does] the will of God [remains] forever.]

[Like] the [refining] pot for silver, & the furnace for gold; so is a man to His praise.[Proverbs 17:3 The [refining] pot is for silver, & the furnace for gold: but the Lord [tests] the hearts.]

Though you [were to grind] a fool [along with] wheat in a mortar with a pestle, [still] his foolishness won’t [leave] from him.

You, be diligent [about] [knowing] the state of your flocks, & [attend] to your herds. [Jeremiah 23:1-4 The Lord [says,] Woe be to the pastors, [a.k.a. shepherds, who] destroy, & scatter the sheep of My pasture! Therefore, the Lord God of Israel [says this] against the pastors [who] feed My people; You have scattered My flock, & driven them away, & haven't visited them. [Watch,] I will visit, [a.k.a. punish,] you, [for] the evil of your [actions, says] the Lord. And I will gather the [rest] of My flock out of all countries [where] I have driven them, & will bring them [back] again to their [flocks.] And they shall be fruitful & increase. And I will set up shepherds over them [who] shall feed them. And they shall no [longer] fear, nor be [discouraged,] & neither shall they [lack] [what is needed,] [says] the Lord.]

For riches aren’t forever, & [does] the crown [continue] to every generation? [1 Samuel 15:22-23 And Samuel said, [Has] the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings & sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? [See,] to obey is better than sacrifice, & to [listen carefully] [is better] than the fat of rams. For rebellion is [like] the sin of: witchcraft, & stubbornness is [like: sinfulness,] & idolatry. Because you, [a.k.a. king Saul,] have rejected the Word of the Lord, He [has] also rejected you from being king.]

The hay [appears,] & the tender grass [displays] itself, & [the] herbs of the mountains are gathered. [Psalm 104:13-14 [God waters] the hills from His chambers; & the earth is satisfied with the fruit of Your works, [a.k.a. deeds.] He [causes] the grass to grow for the cattle, & the herb for the service of man: [so] that he may bring forth food out of the ground.]

The lambs are for your clothing, & the goats are [of value from] the field. You shall have enough goats' milk for your food, & for the food of your household, & the maintenance for your maidens.
